  1. Thanks for the reply! I figured this might be the only way to do it.
  2. Wondering if it's possible to split a MIDI note into equal subdivisions across it's length. would like to split into odd numbers like 5, 7 or 9 for instance to be able to start playing around with polymeters with elements like drums, kicks, hats, etc. Make a long MIDi note across a period of time, let's say a single beat, divide it into 5 equal notes, mute some to play around with rhythms and paterns. I found this concept through an abelton tip on IG which you can check out below: https://www.instagram.com/p/C0GXPHsu1fI/
  3. Hey Atlas, Thanks so much for the solution! I used the instruction is the linked documentation and found a whole new folder with ALL of my components. I was able to locate and delete the stereoizer plug-in. Much appreciated!
  4. Hello, Having trouble uninstalling "stereoizer" by NUGEN Audio from my computer. I had downloaded the elements version for free and now I'm prompted to activate a full license every time I open logic. I just want to get rid of NUGEN all together to stop this pop up opening every time I run logic. I've searched for the VST/component files in the locations listed in the FAQ section of their website "how do I completely remove NUGEN plug-ins from my mac?". I've tried logging into my ilok account but it says that I don't have the license for it. I definitely don't have an activation code that I could find in my NUGEN account either. /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/(Plug-In Name).aaxplugin /Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins/(Plug-In Name).dpm /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/(Plug-In Name).vst /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3(Plug-In Name).vst3 /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/(Plug-In Name).component /Library/Application Support/NUGEN Audio/(Plug-In Name) /Library/Documentation/NUGEN Audio/(Plug-In Name) ~/Documents/NUGEN Audio/(Plug-In Name) But I can't find any actual files to delete. Please help!
  5. I am also having this problem but seem to have found a work around. I have two instances of DMD, a logic stock kit and an empty kit that I am using my own custom samples on. When I click the DMD icon in the inspector, the stock TR-606 DMD interfaces pops up no problem. When I click the DMD icon for my custom template, I cannot get the interface to appear. I just duplicated the custom DMD channel strip and moved the MIDI region over to the new channel and then I was able to open up the DMD interface. Seems like this might just be a weird bug. I'm running 10.5.1
  6. This was definitely my thought path. Hopefully apple can implement this in later updates.
  7. Thanks for the reply! That's pretty unfortunate :/ I spent many years making custom sampler patches. Would have been really nice to use the patches within DMD.
  8. You can do that but I'd still have to manually adjust every pad in DMD. I'm looking for a way to transfer sample mappings I already have in the sampler (many from EXS24 era) into DMD all together. I have a custom drum kit I recorded a bunch of one shots for and mapped out the samples to my preferred keys. I want to be able to take this mapped out patch and use the new DMD interface along with the new features like step sequencer within DMD. Does this make sense?
  9. I'm wanting to convert all my Sampler patches (formerly EXS24) to use in Drum Machine Designer. I've tried searching around but it seems like it isn't possible at the moment?
  10. Is there a way to automatically "shuffle" a selection of regions so that they are all butted up together in the timeline? I have a long audio clips that I removed the silence from and now I want all the new audio regions that have been created to be grouped together and touching each other in the timeline. Right now I'm using "shuffle L" and manually dragging the mbut this is tedious and takes forever. I would much prefer if I could just highlight the regions I want grouped together within a channel strip and use a shortcut to make this happen. Is this possible somehow?
  11. Thank you so much! In this case I'm just putting together a little music/sound design for something I shot.
  12. Hello, Very new to using logic for film scoring, I have a lot to learn so please go easy on me! When importing a movie, is there a way to auto detect cut points in the edit and automatically set markers for those detected? I know that in video editing programs you can do this and it will always require going back to check the detections are accurate but it would save me a lot of time. Thanks in advance!
