seems i struck a nerve. i'm glad. will try the suggestions as soon as possible. about the remote sl: it's really doing it's thing. only problem is that the mappings for native plugins are locked in some way, but novation promises an update "sometime in 2007". still i would recommend it to anyone who needs hands on mixing, drumpads, aftertouch, a great mod/pb stick, and an x/y pad. s#!+ the mute and solo buttons alone has helped me beeing more intuitive about my music. again, big up for the great response on this forum. you are going to see me a lot around here in the future (working on collecting some es2 pst's to share). ciao

hi. first time poster here. i went out and got the remote 37 sl, and the automapping is working surprisingly well. but it has a tempo knob and even a button for "tapping" in the bpm, and neither seem to have any effect on logic. i can see the midi signal in the transport, but no tempo change. checked the sl's manual and have been googling for hours and it seems i'm the only one with this problem. any ideas? ps. been using logic since 5.5 and this forum is making me feel like a complete NOOB (but in a good way )
