  1. Having to create lines in all regions could be a pain, especially in long pieces. Seems counterproductive that the function is programmed that way.
  2. For me it changes the parameter for all regions that the line moves. When I play, each affected region now has the adjusted volume/pan, etc.
  3. Thanks for the help. Here is the gif.
  4. It gives me that behavior. I just discovered that it appears to be that you need to select each region one by one so that they can be automated individually. Unselected regions are impacted, which is weird. Should be the other way around. I wanted to attach screen movie to demonstrate, but don't know how to attach here.
  5. Maybe you don't understand my issue. As you can see, when the video poster moves the line in one region, the line also moves in the adjoining regions. Is there a way to make the line move in one region, while on the other regions it remains at it was. That's what I would call independent.
  6. Here's a yt video cued to where it happens. You can see all lines move simultaneously. How do I get them to move independently?
  7. When I try to use automation by region, sliding a parameter line in a region moves all other lines in other regions, which is counterproductive. Imo that's not so different from track automation. Is there a way to get sliders to move independently in a region?
  8. Eriksimon, thanks! That's the answer I've been looking for! mmm42, I did post this in the wrong forum. My mistake.
  9. Is there an easy way to set the end of song marker without dragging it? Sometimes, the end of song marker is way outside the range of my last region, and I have to go searching for it, and then drag it all the way back to the end of my last region, so that logic doesn't bounce added empty space. There should be a way to set the end of song marker with a click. Is there?
  10. You need to start from before there are any nodes on the automation. Once it's there obviously I can just drag down the line. I'm trying to figure out how I made that rectangle in the first place.
  11. Can someone tell me how to select two nodes and push them down so that the automation goes down in straight lines, as in the image? I was able to do it before but can't seem to replicate this. I thought it was Shift+Alt and drag down, but it's not working. Thanks.
  12. I recorded vocals and part of the track sounds distant and slightly echoed. Any ideas on how I can make the vocal sound thicker and closer to the mic? I can't re-record. Thanks.
  13. Logic 9, mac. I pressed some keys by mistake and my channel strips disappeared. Can someone tell me how to restore? Thanks.
