  1. Thought I'd check back in a couple years later and see if this feature was added yet. Thanks!
  2. so very happy that Apple made this possible with the latest update!
  3. Thanks for this! Am also hoping Logic adds this functionality very soon, as it seems to be quite basic.
  4. Any chance this feature is being incorporated into a Logic Pro update? Maybe somebody in the loop has a scoop...
  5. Thanks. It's a Buchla, receiving MIDI info through the 225e module, and after reading a bit more about it, it looks like the Buchla is not designed to receive portamento cc info. Gonna keep reading on it....thanks for response.
  6. Hello, I have a beginner's question. Was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to draw in a slow buildup from a very low MIDI note to a very high one. I'm sending the MIDI pitch data to an external synth. Tried various things but can't seem to get it to work. Thanks
  7. Thanks for all these great suggestions! I will run through all of these later today.
  8. a related question - if i use automation to adjust the frequency for each note, is there any way to adjust the frequency in very fine increments? i need to adjust one of them by just a few Hz, and dragging the automation bar moves the frequency too much.
  9. MIDI region was selected. Screenshots attached. Thanks!
  10. THere are events. But I still can't choose MIDI Transform.
  11. MIDI Transform is greyed out in my options...can't seem to open it.
  12. also, is there a way to type in the frequency automation data, or is my only choice dragging?
  13. thanks for the reply. i did consider this, but i ran up against another problem - i don't know how to separate midi notes within a single midi region, or how to add automation points at each end of a midi note. so i have to painstakingly place an automation dot at the end of each midi note...seems like a ridiculous way to do this. any tips would be much appreciated!
  14. hi, was hoping someone could help me with this probably very simple task. i have two tracks of sine waves from the test oscillator software instrument, one panned hard left and one panned hard right. each of these tracks is being triggered by an identical sequence of MIDI notes placed in each track. i'd like to adjust all the notes of *just one* of these MIDI regions by single HZ, to generate some beating between the two tones. what is the easiest way to do this? thank you!
