I am having the same issue on another project! It is an Aux Track that is the Snare Drum of the TR 808 Roland Cloud. In the mixer I did "Create Track" so that I can see the Aux Track in the Main Window for the automation. While in Latch Mode I was recording automation for the Filter Cut off of Phat X but it starts recording and after one second or so it stops, then sometimes it records automation for another second or so and stops for several seconds and so on. I placed an empty midi region on the Aux Track so I could then record Region automation but It happens exactly the same! If the automation is drawn then it plays it correctly. The problem is only when recording it by moving the knob with the mouse, and it happens on all parameters of Phat X. The picture shows how it stopped recording the automation in the lane and then resumed it after some while arbitrarily. I was moving the Filter knob constantly!. Thanks for your help!

I was dragging the knobs of Fhat FX. No controller. I think the track got corrupted in some way. I imported all tracks to another clean project and issue persisted. What I did to solve it was to do the automation in a new project and then imported into my working project. Then deleted the track that was not working. Very strange issue. Hope it does not appear again!

Hello, I have a strange issue. I have a midi region, with midi notes and sustain and am trying to record automation for Filter Cutoff of Phat FX. It starts recording the automaiton but then stops recording after 1 second or so. It does the same both in Latch and Write and for all knobs of the filter section of Phat FX and both for region and track automation. I created a new blank virtual instrument added FM8 and Phat FX and drag the midi region without copying the automation, and again after one second stops recording the automation just like the step before. I tried to replicate this by opening a new project but it was working fine. May the project be corrupted in some way ? Any idea how to fix this ?

As for the current version, isn't there a way to remove Groups in Inspector yet? It is annoying as the real state it takes implies many unnecessary clicks to visualize the data you want to see.

Many thanks! I´ve been demoing the Keyboard Maestro but it seemed overly complicated for the simple task I wanted to achieve. Finally I found a workaround. The REC button from the controller is the REC from LPX, the PLAY toggles Low latency mode On/Off and the STOP button toggles PLAY / Stop in LPX. So basically when I want to record in Low latency mode I just press Record + Play in the controller. And when I want to play back in normal latency mode I just press Stop + Play. Not the finest solution but it works in only one step as I wanted!

Hello I want to assign the REC from my controller to both REC and Activate Low Latency mode in LPX. So whenever I hit the REC button from my controller LPX starts recording in Low latency Mode. Consequently, also the PLAY button from the controller should be assigned to both PLAY and Low Latency Mode OFF so whenever I hit play in my controller LPX plays with the low latency mode deactivated. So far I am unable to do it. When I assign the second parameter it automatically, and without any prompt, eliminates the previous assignment. Anybody knows how to assign multiple keycommands to a single knob / button ? Thanks in advance!!

Hi so it´s not possible to use 14 bit resolution unless using a 14 bit midi controller? Is it not possible to configure it so that a normal 7 bit midi controller can send 14 bit midi data?

Thanks. For what I see AQA only assigns controls to external MIDI controllers. So Midi CC 127 steps... (low resolution) Unfortunately I don't have a controller with higher resolution here to try if it works in higher resolution. Anyone with a high resolution controller (no MIDI) achieving high resolution plugin automation, just like the automation drawn with the mouse?

Hello, Is that possible in LPX to have a high resolution external controller like the Presonus Fader Port (it sends 10 bit, 1024 steps automation) to automate plugin parameters? I know that I can automate Volume, Pan in High Resolution from the Control surface but what about Plugin Parameters ? AFIK it can only record plugin automation by mouse in high resolution (automation lane) or with a midi controller with very poor resolution (midi CC 127 steps)... So I would like to do something like touch any Plugin parameter and assign it to a knob in the control surface and record an automation lane in High resolution. Is that possible in LPX??

Looks like with version LPX 10.1.1 this lack of synch between audio and video is still not fixed... It is quite confusing working with high latency on the video signal. Hope they fix it soon.

Hi, Just wondering if that is possible. I´d like to randomly create some points within specific parameters to randomize automation curves so that they sound as if they were recorded live. Just like the humanize midi notes and CC but for automation. Does that exist in LPX? I can not find it.

Thanks for your reply but I am looking for a "only midi" solution. Don´t wanna deal with samplers for that. What I need is a tool to distribute the incoming midi notes to each of the channel strip housing the monophonic synth.
