  1. By the way, thanks for adding the info to your signature! J. Thanks a lot, yeah I don't know what Tempophone does but I know that Speed changes the pitch too, I just tried those to see if I had the same problem! 1. I cut out the drumloop from the song so that if I looped it it would sound nice 2. I looped it and zoomed in at like the 63rd bar so that I could change the tempo so that it would match the loop 3. I didn't wan't the bpm to be 127.0389 (I changed it a little since last time) so I thought I would make it 125 (since I changed it 127 is too close so let's just say 125 as an example). 4. I changed the tempo, then I opened up flex, I choosed Polyphonic and dragged the loop so that it would fit perfect, and then when I pressed play it sounded different. As you can see in my 1st post I thought the chan eq disappeared but that was not the case.. Maybe it would help if I posted audio clips with and without flex? I'll do it! Thanks a lot for helping me out, no problem at all with adding the info edit: I tried to add attachment but neither .wav or .m4a worked, which attachments works?
  2. Don't know much about my CPU but I tried to add some stuff! I tried every flex mode - Slicing, Rhythmic, Monophonic, Polyphonic, Tempophone & Speed! Same problem with every one of them!
  3. I've been using flex for about a month now and it's great, but I just noticed something! I looped a drum loop from an audio file (not a logic loop, a lil beat from a song). The song which I looped it from was from a vinyl rip so I eq'd i a little to make it sound better. Then I was gonna flex the loop to 127 bpm (the loop was about 126.9 or something) so I thought that you wouldn't hear any difference but then when I flexed it I noticed that it sounded like it did before I eq'd it!! What's wrong?? Thanx Edit: I bypassed the eq to see if it was 100% gone but when I bypassed it it sounded even worse so the eq isn't gone but something is wrong with the sound
  4. Thanks a lot y'all, flex is wonderful!! Just 1 more question, can I make flex change only tempo if I would wan't that? Flex was perfect! I really appreciate u helping me out!
  5. Thanks a lot everyone for helping me out! 2 problems: 1. I can't choose what exactly bpm I wan't becuase it sais "In Classic Transposition Mode, Tempo and Length Change are determined by Transposition." when I try to change it! Let's say I wanted it to 93 from 113,0470 (which i actually wanted now when I tested this out), the closest thing to 93 is 93,0500, I know it's close, but is there a way to choose exactly what bpm I wan't? 2. Beer Moth, as you said it's destructive, what do you mean by a copy? Do I have to copy every file I wan't to change so the whole file dosen't change? And oh, That flex description sounded good but I tried it out and I don't quite understand how to use it(?) Thanks!
  6. Hey y'all! I'd like to know the easiest way(s) to change pitch & tempo at the same time! I have a couple of questions! I think the AUPitch plugin is perfect, is there something similar that changes the tempo too at the same time? Also "Time Stretch Region to Nearest Bar"/"Time Stretch Region to Locators" is great, is there a way to change the pitch at the same time, so that it matches with the time stretch? It'd be great is someone could help me out, if none of these can change both pitch & tempo at the same time, then what do you use to do that? Thanks! PS. Btw, I know "Time and Pitch Machine" exists but I don't like that at all actually.. The 2 methods I wrote about is much easier, if only there was a way to make 'em change both time stretch and pitch..
  7. Thanks a lot for the help y'all! TequilaKez & David's version is exactly what I was looking for!!
  8. Okay so I got this audio file, and it's in stereo, the audio in the left & right speaker is different.. What I wanna do is I only wan't the audio from the left side, but I wan't it on both sides!! Is there any way to do that? Thanks y'all
  9. Hey, I'm kinda new to Logic, I got it like 2 months ago! I just downloaded a .midi file and my idea was to play with it, remove some instruments, add some instruments, and so on.. However, I was gonna make the volume of an instrument a little lower, said and done, I did, but then when I pressed play it went back to the original volume! What's up with that? Thanks!
