  1. Then how did volovicg reply to me with this attachment? viewtopic.php?f=1&t=144272 Also do you have any insight to my main issue?
  2. Since Upgrading to 10.4.6 I have noticed multiple glitches in the score editor. This is the most recent one. Hopefully it is a new feature and they have changed something and it is not a true glitch. However, I used to be able to create a score set add aa track/instrument and then drag it to the position I wanted it to be in. When I do that now it does this weird renaming with the "Full Name Columns" and then like deletes the instrument closest to the spot I dragged it to be in...Very frustrating...Any solutions? I have a screen recording I was going to attach but it is greyed out when I try to attach it to this post...?
  3. Yes that part works fine for me too. Except now, when I actually click "Line Break" or "Page Break" nothing happens.
  4. Since my Upgrade to 10.4.6 the control click (line break and Page break) in the score window, does nothing now. Anyone else dealing with this?
  5. Oh Wow it worked! Thank you so much! ...Out of curiosity (as this has happened before) What about the reverse? I have a consecutive 8th note pattern and for it to actually sound staccato or spiccato I have shortened the MIDI notes. But now Score Editor shows them at 16th notes. Is there a way to make the Score Editor show 8th notes?
  6. You know how there is the "Delay" setting in the Region drop down of Inspector tab? And with that you can have you midi notes start a little bit before or after than what they are actually quantized to do? This helps with things like quantizing samples that maybe don't trigger exactly when the sample starts. For me that is extra helpful because I use the Score Editor to compose in Logic and if I start shifting MIDI notes around to make the actual sound correct, things start looking very wonky in the Score Editor. So in a similar fashion I now have samples that have their release based on the length on the MIDI note in piano roll. Here it is in Piano roll and score. But In order to make it sound it's best I have to drag the MIDI notes out like so: Therefore forcing my score to look like this So my question is there a setting in Logic (in the Inspector tab, or anywhere) where I can tell logic to play the note 50ticks longer than the MIDI note in the piano roll? That way I achieve desired actual sound AND look in the score...?
  7. No I have not Found A Solution, You can make it "stop" by switching the Key command for "stop" to something with ⌘ ⌃ ⌥ in front of it. But that is not practical for all commands. Right now when I say "Computer Stop" I have it set to key command "⌃ ␣" which is connected to "Stop and return to original position" inside of Logic
  8. No it's a movie score thing. I understand the things that turns orange. But those same sends will play with zero latency when I only have say 10 tracks. Just seems kinda silly that I have a computer that can handle this CPU and HD =0wise but logic itself can't run this because of the way the program is written apparently?
  9. also in general the project just kind of lags when clicking on tracks and automation nodes. But I am running of a SSD and an iMac with 32GB RAM...?
  10. I have a project at 128 Buffer size and there are no plugins (e.g. izotope) that cause latency on the Stereo Out. So why am I getting latency when there are only 89 tracks in my project? Low latency fixes it but I like to here the FX sends I am using to create unique sounds when I play them real time.
  11. In Logic you can categorize all your plugins to some of the existing folders or even create new ones. I really like this feature and I have customized everything to my liking on my iMac. I was wondering where are those files stored though? So I can transfer all the categorizing I did from my iMac to my Macbook pro?
  12. Yes and then there you can type in where in your project you want the time code to start 0:00:00:00
  13. I am a composer and when I work on feature films the movie file starts to add up when I am creating "save as" projects for different cues and different versions. I was told by a friend of mine that if you “Save As” a logic project as a package it will use the same movie file from the same folder instead of copying it over for each new “Save As” ...as to save space on hard drive and not have these huge folders for one project? But every time I do a “save as” even if I click package instead of folder it copies the movie file and makes a new one... is there an extra step you are doing that I’m missing? And I know I could use project alternatives but they’re just as stable and easy to get to if the project crashes they all become corrupt
