  1. Thank you. Actually that folder was only 1meg. In the end I realised I hadn't checked 'Clear Undo History When Closing Project' on Preferences/Audio/Audio File Editor. Oh well, that means I have loads of songs on my hard drive using up more space than they should. Time to boot them all up and resave them..
  2. There's nothing in the undo history or the audio browser and it's just set to back up the last alternative version.
  3. I'm trying to delete all files in a project to bring the file size down to almost zero, since there are some empty regions on no output tracks that are useful guides so I'd like to use this project as a template for future projects. I've deleted all the audio files and done a full clean up. However, I can't find a way to delete the alternatives files that remain. When I go inside the package contents there is a folder inside the Alternatives folder called 000 which is 180mg in size. I can't just drag this to the trash as the project no longer loads. And there is only one Project Alternative in Logic - Untitled - so this can't be deleted from within the Logic program. This has puzzled me for a while so it would be great to find a solution if there is one.
  4. Sorry that this is 2 years too late but decided to reply anyway because it might help someone else. All you have to do is make sure that the Loop Mode is set to Start/End, then click on the "End" button and that parameter will show up in the Automation view. Simple! Thanks for coming back with the answer!
  5. I dragged/copied some audio files from a song's package contents, converted them to wavs and mono in an editor for use in Disting Mk4 (Eurorack sampler in this case). There were cue points in the wavs and the Disting interpreted them as loop points and I just got clicks for sound. I've never really had to deal with cue points in audio files before so I'm trying to understand this a bit better. When I rendered the files direct from Logic ('convert to new audio files') I didn't get this problem. Why were there cue points in the first scenario, what are cue points, and how do i get rid of them?
  6. Same issue here - changing audio input/output device from temporary to permanant solved it.
  7. Solved. For some reason the master fader, which I never really look at (usually just keep my eye on the Stereo Out fader), had been turned down 8db.
  8. All of a sudden in this one song , when I apply a limiter, in this case Ozone 7's Maximizer or PSP Xenon and push the limiter to its max, Logic's output will only go as far as -7.9. All other songs behave as normal and Logic's output goes all the way to 0.0. I'm wondering, has the song become corrupted or is their something else I'm missing, if anyone can help?
  9. ctl click the catch button in any view - you need to uncheck these as well as the ones in prefs/General/Catch
  10. I used to use Redmatica's EXS Manager to re-link samples, so I'm looking forward to trying your app to see if it helps. This has been an ongoing issue for EXS for years though up to recently it seemed to have been solved. Thank you for making the app! I get problems with EXS24 finding samples that are in the audio music apps/samples folder. eg I just bought an older library from Big Fish Audio called 'Synth Explorer - SH101' and on my Macbook running 10.12 three of the instruments had problems, showing the orange alerts and just saying 'Samples' in the editor. On my 2008 Mac Pro which is running 10.9.5 I never get this problem. I still use Redmatica's Keymap on the 10.9.5 computer (one of the reasons I still use 10.9.5), but I've had to stop using it because often EXS intsruments I've created in Keymap, when moved over to the 10.12 laptop will have the "Samples' error (the samples themselves are always stored in the Audio Music Apps/Samples folder on the laptop).
  11. Thank you! 'It's nearly always human error,' my dad used to say..
  12. eg this plays back at the same pitch as the original sample when I play F1 (not C#1 as you'd expect). There's only one zone in the instrument (as with all these).
