  1. It seems to be working, thank you so much cnse!
  2. Thank you for the reply, I hope it works!!! I have tried so many times to fix this issue.. and it's not the instrument's problem either.
  3. Hello logic Pro forums! I have logic pro 9... I have always had trouble with my midi sync in logic. I am wondering what may be wrong in my logic settings. I have the synthesizer's settings set properly for midi, but the sync is always off. The arpeggio never syncs. For example, on the korg Microkorg, I set the knob to midi and play the arpeggio - the arpeggio speed does not change when I change the BPM in logic. Can anyone send some screen shots of their current midi settings on the environment, and preferences? Thanks! I really need to straighten this out so I can go hardware crazy.
  4. I tried doing this but my micron isn't responding to the midi. What do your midi settings look like in your logic pro?
  5. Hello everyone. I have been having problems with my alesis micron when I connect it to logic. This is a multitimbral synth and it can record 8 patches at a time. I am having the problem where I can only select one patch at a time. When I make another external midi track and a new audio track, the patch plays the first channel only. I'll select another channel, and it will only play the first one. I'll change the patch and it will still only play the first patch - this is monotimbrality, so why is this happening. If I have a setting wrong in logic please let me know. I'm trying to connect the micron to the MicronAU software so that I can program my sounds. Please help!
  6. How do I turn off velocity on my midi keyboard? It's annoying when I'm doing a pattern on my keyboard and then it decides to change the volume levels - my keyboard isn't even weighted, so it's pointless.
  7. Aww dangit... Well I might go for Ableton or Cubase soon.. I 've heard so many good things about them. Idk, it depends what Logic offers in Pro X.
  8. If you just want to do a specific part that's pitched, you can cut that audio part and load it into the exs24 sampler, create a new zone, choose your file..and then you can put where you want your note to start - I always use C1. Then your vocal sample will act like midi, and then you can keep using the sample and pitch it wherever you like. I'd only use this method for a little sample though, because it gets annoying when the sample is long.
  9. I'll do it Monday, as of now I'm away from my studio. Hopefully that fixes the problem because I'm going to sell my usb mixer.. I don't want to have a mixer just for phantom power, it's pointless, lol.
  10. Great, thanks again David! You're always a help !
  11. any other suggestions besides that, David? This never happened with my usb mixer, so I'm perplexed.
  12. Is there a way to do noise removal in Logic? I am currently doing the strip silence, but I don't see a noise removal function, thanks.
  13. The monitors are on, but I'm using headphones.. and the monitors are shielded.
  14. And is logic X free when you purchased logic pro 9? Or will they charge an upgrade free?
