  1. When I try to do a "Restore Sound Library." I keep getting the following error. "Logic Pro X was not able to complete the download. Check your internet connection and try downloading again." I even get the same error when the download completes all the way. Please advise.
  2. So is Apple going to be fixing something to get things all sorted out with the 3rd party sources or is it on all these companies to come up with updates to their software and plugins? Cause if that is the case 10.12 will be out before any of this is smooth sailing.
  3. It's an eyesore and makes the software look cheap and sloppy. Such oversights should not happen.
  4. Yeah, how did they miss this one? Such a sloppy bug...
  5. How come you cannot select the key of Eb in the transport of Logic Pro X 10.2? It changes to the key of Ab min when you try. See the photo... Freakin weird! Other keys do it as well. Buggy.
  6. Can anyone please tell me why when you zoom in on an audio waveform in Logic via horizontal and vertical that the waveform resolution is terrible? I mean it is very blurry and not detailed at all. Thanks! I did want to add in addition, that when I say the waveform is "blurry", that I mean as compared to say Pro Tools or Cubase where the waveforms are very clear and detailed when zoomed in on. Logic Pro X 10.1.1 OS X 10.10.2
  7. "The current version of Melodyne AU is known to be somewhat unstable at this time... There have been several changes to the way plugins are handled in LPX/OS X recently.. (Code Signing and the new Graphical APIs as two such examples) Some 3rd party Devs have simply not caught up with and handled the changes properly, hence the issues with a few of these plugins..." was a response I received on the Apple page and are excellent points......
  8. I just made Logic crash by using the time handle in Melodyne and trying to change the timing of a vocal. So some of these crashes seem to be related to changing the timing of an audio part in a plugin...
  9. Hello everyone. I am having an unusual amount of full on hard crashes and GUI issues in Logic 10.1.1 as of late. As just one example, I had just opened the audio waveform editor in Logic to edit a wave file and BOOM crash. Stuff is happening a lot. I just bought a brand new Mac Pro with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB Flash HD. The machine itself really couldn't be any faster. I have external Thunderbolt HDs and a brand new clean install of OS X 10.10.2 My audio interface is a UA Apollo Thunderbolt I really am at a loss, and I am actually an Apple tech. I know right lol. A lot of 3rd party plugins seem to be the culprit, like Slate plugins, Melodyne, Fabfilter, etc... Apple seems to be going backwards in stability with 3rd party plugs...? I was hoping that someone could chime in and give me some advice. I have done all the usual troubleshooting, clean install, latest plugins, trimming the fat in the OS, NVRAM reset, SMC reset, clear cache, clear prefs, nothing running in the background, etc, etc... My Mac Pro obviously came with Yosemite installed, but can run Mavericks, should I go backwards? I hate to do that, only because I believe in moving forward and eventually all 3rd party devs will have to get their acts together with their code and get things stable and solid on Yosemite, then at that point I am going to have to move forward anyway. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Agreed, we should so that we can easily send developers to it.
  11. Please let them know as well. The more the better.
  12. I believe it is a Blue Cat Audio plugin issue. Seems to only happen after opening their analyzer plugin... I will be letting them know.
  13. If if is normal then wouldn't it behave the same way all the time? It doesn't. Sometimes it will open the plugin window, other times it does not.
  14. I am having an issue in 10.1 where I open a plugin, then go in and select a new plugin, but then the plugin window does not open automatically. I have to click on it to get it to open. When I first instantiate a plugin the plugin window opens fine, but if I go close the plugin window and go in and select a new plugin the window does not open... Any ideas?
  15. Just pulled up a bunch of other plugins to test if you could double click and edit their values, NOPE. Boy oh boy, Apple SMH...
