  1. Thanks for the replies. I will give this a try tonight. I remember doing something similar with disabling plug ins but it was a long time ago. Thanks again.
  2. I am trying to open projects from around 6 months ago (before I got my M1 Mac). Unfortunately they all crash immediately and don't give any error logs. How do I narrow down what's causing the crashes? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the help. I’ve just migrated to a new M1 Mac and couldn’t for the life of me remember what was causing this!

    Midi blocks

What setting is making the midi block have these edges and not be the normal rectangle? The reason I'm asking is sometimes it will do this and not record the midi, only on stopping and tracking a second time does it seem to record as normal. Im sure its something I've set which is why I want to understand what is going on. Thanks
  5. When in playback or record mode using Axe fx iii as my audio interface via a usb cable there are really short cuts to the audio where all tracks will cut out. Its a very short cut but affects all recorded audio and is making recording impossible. Ive tried another audio interface and there were no issues so it is definitely axe/logic related. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. I managed to (crudely) capture it on video at 0.03 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktEwUY6-Iio&feature=youtu.be
  6. I do the same thing I always do. Set the cycle and then press R to record and space to stop. It’s been fine up until today when this started.
  7. It starts to record on the second cycle. So that’s been my workaround
  8. Yes, cycle record is on and set to merge
  9. Ok, some progress. If I let the cycle loop once on the second go around the midi records. It’s almost acting like a full bar count in
  10. Yup, instruments are all Working fine. They just refuse to record.
  11. Ok. I’ve tried bypass all control surfaces and a reset of the keyboard but the issue remains.
  12. It’s a keystation 49. Weird thing is it seems to work intermittently. I have recorded some midi with it on the same project today. I will try what you suggested
  13. I’m not sure what I have done, but I’m getting weird behaviour in cycle record. As im recording and playing the midi notes the midi block remains empty and just shows a collapsed midi block when i hit stop (see pic). Any help much appreciated on this. Thanks

    Midi

Thanks for the reply. That’s always how I fix it, by highlighting all and quantising. I’ll just do it on the way in instead. Cheers!

    Midi

Hi, Im sure this is an easy one, but for some reason whenever i track midi in cycle record the first note is always before the bar and i have to go in and fix it. I have it as snap to beat but doesn't seem to make any difference. (see first note of bar in screenshot). Thanks in advance for the help.
