  1. Hello! I missing the workflow somewhere in logic that makes it easy to align audio tracks. How would you perform the following? I have some trumpets, let's say I have a marker in my arrange of when I want the trumpets to come in. There is some silence on the trumpet audio before the trumpets actually come in. How do you align the beginning of the trumpets in the audio with the marker in the arrange? On a related note, let's say I know the exact tick I want the trumpets to start, is there a way I can set the audio track to come in exactly at that time? In audition, I could set a marker on the audio file and on the arrange window, then snap them. I'm still trying to do that workflow within logic which is why I think I'm having a rough time. How do logic users do this? Thanks as always! - Mike
  2. Hi All, I can't seem to find the keyboard commands for moving the playhead in the sample editor? I hit . (period) and , (comma) but it moves in track arrange playhead instead of the sample editor playhead even though sample editor is up is active. Using the keyboard with logic as much as I can, I love all the keyboard shortcuts thus far. Anyone got this figured out yet? Any assistance is appreciated! - Mike
  3. Thanks for the reply! I'll stop looking for that function now, I've been searching for hours! - Mike
  4. Hi All, I've recently moved to OSX and Logic Pro (a few hours working in Logic but more hours just reading up on it heh) and have started trying to import some Adobe Audition projects (was on version 2!). Anyhow, I overloaded my old system and decided to go with Logic and a MBP. I was hoping to get some pointers on some things I couldn't quite figure out in Logic and one thing I was doing in AU that was a "nice to have" - I'm thinking it is just different workflow for this one in logic? The thing I've been trying to duplicate most, was group regions together, so that if you move one of them they all follow in the arrange window. AU called this grouping. So far i've found in Logic the folder track type and the Bin grouping function but they are not exactly what I'm looking for. I can select all the regions each time to move them all in sync, but it was nice to be able to lock the regions together and not have to worry about it. Anyhow, I appreciate any help - thanks as always, the forums here look really amazing! - Mike Logic Pro 9.1.8 OS X 10.7.5 MBP 2.5Ghz i7 8GB RME FF800
