  1. That's OK. I appreciate the effort. Maybe there is something else out there for tubular bells. BTW, the Pianoteq ones sounded pretty authentic.....
  2. I tried to download their tubular bells. It makes you create an account with them. You can not start an account with them unless you purchase one of their products first. After you purchase then you can have access to their free stuff.
  3. Doing a project that requires tubular bells. Where can I find some good authentic tubular bell sounds? Can't find any in the stock Logic synth plugins and my Korg M50 doesn't have any on it that are worth a damn either. Is there something available out there online?
  4. Guys, thanks for your help on this. It never occurred to me to just slow down the speed right there on YouTube. Now I feel dumb........LOL
  5. I found a YouTube video that I want to import in to Logic. First of all, is that possible? The video is of a person playing a guitar solo that I want to learn but they are playing it in blistering real time. I want to bring it in to Logic and then use Flex Time to slow it down so I can learn it. If this is possible I would like to know how to do it. Thanks in advance.
  6. I have a favorite song that I want to learn the guitar solo to. I know how to drag the Mp3 into Logic. But after that, how do I slow down the tempo without reducing the pitch so I can practice it at my own speed?
  7. Thankyou Music Spirit. I finally figured out the solution. I didn't realize you can hold down the mouse and drag it over the series of midi notes you want to highlight. I am sooo slow at this sometimes. Thanks again.
  8. So, I'm in the Piano Roll. The track is a MIDI drum track (Steven Slate) I want to lower the velocity of the snare. Just the snare. For a measure or two but leave the rest of the snare velocity untouched for the rest of the song. I know how to highlight the snare hits and use the velocity tool to increase/decrease the velocity. I can't seem to figure out how to highlight just a specified amount of snare hits without affecting other midi blocks in the area. I am holding down the shift and the using the arrow key. But when doing this, it not only highlights the snare hits that I want it also highlights other peripheral drums. Like the kick, the tom, etc. Is there a trick I haven't learned yet? I am very inexperienced at editing and working with MIDI in the piano roll. Pardon my clumsiness at this.
  9. Hello all..... When bouncing my projects in to iTunes what Bit Rate should I be using?
  10. This describes the exact scenario that I have. This is a very good reply. So maybe I could decide which midi tracks are absolutely essential for my backup reference and just transpose those down while singing/recording. I could just leave the audio tracks untouched and mute those while recording the vocal part. Then after I transpose everything back up the audio tracks will remain "uncontaminated". Do I have this right?
  11. Not sure how low I want to go. Figured I would experiment with that once I learn how to do it.
  12. Hello all..... I would like to know how to lower the musical pitch of an entire project so that I may sing/record a vocal track that is too high for me to sing. Then, restore the pitch back to original. Cheating I know....
  13. I have a MIDI track. I want to lower the musical pitch by one half step for the whole track. What is the easiest way to do this?
  14. Yup..... did some more experimenting with foot technique. Got it to sound right after a few takes. You guys are awesome. Thankyou for your patience with me.
  15. Oh.... and KC, I looked up the pedal you linked. I do have one similar to that in a Roland version. I never use it because it slides all over the place and at one time I tested the performance of it, verses the M-Audio "cheapie" and couldn't tell any difference. For some reason the M-Audio doesn't slide around and just feels more comfortable to use. Personal preference I guess... is there any technical difference between the two that you know of? They are both essentially on/off I guess?
