  1. Maybe this has been addressed already here, but there are a series of new controls above the channel strips for "audio device controls" It looks like a low cut, a phase button, and a direct toggle. And 48, 48hz? They are all greyed out for me, does anyone know how these work, does the audio driver specifically need to support it? lol
  2. I'm browsing the forums on an iphone, no less than 5 ads, some of them in between posts in a thread.. I get it, you have to pay the bills.. And then this section at the end, which I can only describe as something from the clickbait template library (that's what clickbait usually looks like), except it's taking people's avatars randomly and putting them next to thread topics. It's a little bit crazy. Have a look at the attachment. Also, those up/down arrows you can't get rid of are pretty distracting too. Not a good mobile experience, it used to be better.. I hope it improves. lol
  3. I experience this also, and it’s a huge problem. Anyone else lol
  4. F14 and F15 keys are not recognized in Logic as key commands. The keys work in other applications. I already submitted a bug report to apple soon after this keyboard was released, maybe it will get more attention here. lol
  5. I've found the reason. right mouse button has to be "opens shortcut menu" in preferences. I thought that only applies to regions. lol
  6. I am able to reassign a track in the arranger. Works like it did in previous versions. That's peculiar. Right-clicking the grey part of a track for me now does nothing. Anyone else? lol
  7. There seems to be a big change in Logic with regard to midi channels. Now, you can no longer right-click a track in arrange to re-assign it, and you can no longer add a midi track into the arrange view that refers to a multi-instrument object from the environment. Can anyone confirm this to be the case? So the old trick of cabling a multi-instrument to a plugin to make it multi-timbral no longer works. thanks lol
  8. Why don't you just use the loop function? Make your life easier; if you can't beat them, join them. lol
  9. There is a new checkbox in the external instrument plugin, auto-compensate latency. I haven't experimented with this yet.. Does anyone know how this changes past behavior, if at all. Is round-trip delay now compensated for in situations where it was not, or does this function just turn that feature "off" where someone might not want it? lol
  10. You sure do have a funny definition of "nightmare" - most of those things were necessary growing pains and FAR from terrible. In fact, I don't think apple could have handled them any better. lol
  11. I returned mine cause I couldn't get that piece of crap to work.. maybe this "bundle" tip is relatively new. lol
  12. even if you hear latency on playback, it should never be there in the final bounce, that's odd. do you have the same behavior whether you bounce in realtime or offline mode.. lol
  13. Remove them, just to figure out what it is. The things you really need can be put back once the exact cause is found, and then you at least have a constructive avenue to pursue lol
  14. I think that it's a bad idea to restore anything from time machine when you are attempting to troubleshoot, the advice on starting clean is pretty sound. Audio file formats are standard, it doesn't matter where it came from, so I don't think that is it. I would try again clean and don't restore. Manually copy audio but not programs or settings. lol
  15. He said he did a time machine transfer, so no it's not a clean install. His signature also lists 10.9 as his OS. That's an issue then of course, the new machine probably inherited its problem lol
