  1. Thanks for pointing this out. I was trying to do an offline bounce, but I tried to do a real time bounce and it worked. I'm assuming offline bounce is not possible.
  2. Hi, I created a Meta Event to jump to a marker to skip part of the song. It works well during playback, but it gets ignored when I bounce the song. Is it possible to keep the meta event in the bounced files? Thanks,
  3. Hi, After updating to 10.4, I keep getting sustain on by default on the tracks. I have to enter sustain zero in the Step Editor wherever I want to playback, otherwise the notes get sustained. Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening, and how to fix it? Thanks,
  4. Hi, When I use "Share to Garageband" feature in Logic, it exports the project and the project appears in Garageband, however, it is empty. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or do you have any idea what I could do to fix it? Thanks,
  5. Hi, I want to change the tempo of a project without affecting the audio tracks. There is no "Follow Tempo" option and SMPT locking doesn't work. What should I do? Thanks for your help.
  6. Hi, I am having difficulty when entering paragraphs of text or dialogues or long stage directions etc. inside the score, mainly because I can only enter lines of text since it doesn't wrap the text or I cannot just move to the next line by pressing the return key. Is there any way to simulate a text box, or any easy way to enter large paragraphs, so that it wraps automatically or even a way so that I can just move to the next line. Thanks.
  7. yes thanks, it was "defeat interpretation"
  8. Sometimes, especially when a note length is larger than the beat line, Logic enters a note and a rest instead of a tied note. Let's say I have an 8th note, instead of two tied 16th notes, sometimes Logic interprets that as a 16th note and a 16th rest. The problem is I can't even overwrite is. That 16th rest Logic enters cannot be changed to a note. My work around is dividing my original 8th note into two 16th notes and then tie them with a slur, which obviously does not sound right, but looks right. But if I want to have an 8th note there, I can't at all. Does anyone know what to do about this?
  9. How can I hide empty measures in Logic Pro X score editor? The empty measures are hidden in the beginning of the song, but once they are in they won't be hidden again even though there's nothing in them for several bars. The regions are trimmed, so there aren't even regions there.
  10. Hi, Is there a way to make all instruments show in the score editor throughout the whole song even though they are silent at that moment? Basically, Logic automatically hides silent instruments, and I don't want that.
  11. I think autosave feature is a joke. I had a crash and the latest autosaves seem to be from last week. I lost all my progress because of it.
  12. I think everything looks just unnecessarily bigger. I think Logic somehow cannot interpret the screen resolution correctly.
  13. Hi, When I get Logic Pro X on full screen, it cuts away some part of the left hand side, so the panel on the left is not visible entirely. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Specs: Macbook pro 13" mid-2012, Mountain Lion 10.8.4, 1280x800
  14. Well, I don't know what it means but can it be fixed
  15. OK, so it just got weirder. I tried to record a sample audio to send you how it sounds. However, I found out that the problem is with the Duet's output. Because the audio I recorded sounded normal through the built-in output, but through the Duet's output it sounded as if there was a mild phaser or flanger effect, and as the sound sustains it starts to stutter mildly. It is quite difficult to describe but it sounds as if there is some sort of effect, which makes the sound more synth-like. P.S. Sorry I posted this problem on a Logic forum, initially I thought it was a problem with the DAW settings. However, members of this forum are extremely knowledgable, so maybe someone will have an idea about the problem. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks to your help, at least I was able to discover the source of the problem.
