Some smaller developers don't provide packages for install. They just zip the folder with destinations; vst, au, AU3 etc

I've noticed a couple of AU3 folders when installing plugs. Can't remember which though. And not in front of my machine.

Jordi - Ah yes, I remember this now. Haven't had much time on it since .3 I noticed that it was only the stock Midi Fx with this ability. I use Cthulhu and LfoTool a lot so would like it in them!

What does more midi channels mean? Basically, when can I use MidiFX to control third party AUs!!?

Use the slider on the left to change the sample rate. Crusty, but it works.

Gah. Away from my machine at the moment. I see a lot of excitement about dual mono plugs, can someone give me a real world example of how this would benefit?

Not sure if it's relevant but on the save setting, make sure Folders is selected. I find it easier to navigate rather than the Projects option. The latter is good for sending projects to others, but that's about it.

What are we using now that Waveburner is no longer available?

All about the scratchpad. I LOVE this feature. I almost switched just for this. I also like the search in the instrument/effect section. I think Logic should make those insert boxes text boxes like Spotlight, when you start typing it filters down to the plug you want.

Sorry to re hash an old thread but is there any way around this zipper/stepping artefact? Driving me nuts.

I actually found it really solid. Surprisingly so. I have an iPad mini though so was always too small for me to reach for constantly. Plus never further than 1ft from the desk.

Just discovered this is still at thing with the MSEG.

I found the same. So many presets but not that many that interest me. I use it as a glorified sampler now.
