  1. So this is a template I've been using a lot to play live, it may come in handy for lots of jazz guys who do left-hand bass gigs, but in general, can work for lots of split ideas. The theory behind it is that each instrument track on the arrange will simultaneously control any number of Audio Instruments connected to it in the environment window. I've set up a few transformers, the most important one being the 'sus kill', which filters sustain pedal info from going to the bass instrument. Have fun with it, let me know if I can help or customize for anyone. David, I know you'll like this one, it's the one I demo'd at our trainer class in L.A., with a few updates. It's not tremendously jam-packed with features as my needs are pretty basic, but it's easily expandable. 2. Hey David, here's one I came across on a support session that just boggled me. Intermittently, the Score window will or will not display notes when regions are not selected in the arrange. I've tried this on a few systems and it's the same, so no chance of a system glitch. Basically, the matrix editor has an option under it's local View menu to only display data when a region is selected. The Score window doesn't seem to have that option, and so it freely displays data from one or more regions if nothing is selected. This has actually led to crashes, due to the large amount of data being drawn at one point or another, when it's a very large orchestral scoring session, the crashes happen A LOT. It just seems to me that the Score window in general needs a little 'overhaulin' to get it up to speed with the rest of the program. Luis from Vancouver
