  1. Hey guys I am looking into the snap settings on logic and how I can set it up best for me. I always have issues with logic wanting to place things on odd markers like not the first beat of the bar, and i have to zoom in loads and make it hit on the 1st beat for example. It may be very close, but slightly out, leading to issues down the line. I was wondering if theres an optimal setup so that it snaps in the most logical way and doesnt get thrown off easily / sporadically!
  2. Ah the triangle looks like what i was looking for! Ill give it a go thanks
  3. Hey guys Im getting to grips with logic automation having come from ableton where its super fast. The issue im having is i loose track of what parameters are automated. There isnt a clear indication of whats automated and they get hidden away in the menu system. Is there a better way to do this? I spend a lot of time working out why a volume is changing or filter opening where it shouldnt etc etc I know in ableton there were big red squares next to automated parameters which made it obvious, logic doesnt do the same Cheers!
  4. ive downloaded strings, ill download the rest
  5. Still no luck! http://i.imgur.com/DxOwYl8l.png
  6. Ive downloaded garageband content, then held down option and gone to the legacy menu and it isnt included, any ideas? http://i.imgur.com/J1awvrxl.png
  7. ah ok i dont have garageband content downloaded so thatll be it! thanks
  8. Hey guys I was watching a tutorial and the producer used a plugin in logic that generated string sounds. Ive looked around but cant see it anywhere. Here is a screen shot, can anyone advise where I can locate it? Cheers http://i.imgur.com/9SIqnO9l.png
  9. It does, but that option isnt on the actual stereo output buss. is there not a way to set the stereo outs output?
  10. Hey guys I was wondering if there is an option in Logic X for me to change which interface output the stereo out goes to? I know you can adjust it in the audio/midi settings of the OS, but i wondered if logic had a routing option like you can in ableton This is so i can switch between my main 1-2 output and my SPDIF output for monitor and headphone monitoring Cheers!
  11. ok great thanks, just a shape the faders cant be made larger as im on 4K and they looks ridiculously tiny!
  12. Hey guys I havent used logic X in a long time and was wondering if you could help me with the mixer as i set up my template. As seen below i have a lot of space for the mixer to be taller, yet it isnt used...is there a way to increase the space and size of the elements to fill it? Many thanks! http://i.imgur.com/7w9eNDHl.png
  13. Yes the SR changes regardless of app, i was just stating ableton does it as well
  14. logice doesnt set 32, its 44.1, the OSX setting drops to 32 from 44.1 when logic is opened (and ableton) Its a class compliant interface and has no drivers. http://i.imgur.com/bFy3TI2l.png see here, you would want it staying at 44.1 but it drops to 32 when audio applications are opened
