  1. HI. I'm trying to import Key Commands from an old Mac running Logic 10.6. Currently running 10.7.9. I can't get it to work. I imported the file to ~Music/Audio Music Apps/ Key Commands. Restarted Logic. Also, when I try to recreate some of my key commands, some work and some don't. Can anyone help? Thanks! Mike
  2. Hi, Lately, when I bounce a track in place like a software instrument, the bounced file is way too hot and the wave is squared off. I have normalization turned off for sure. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. Any ideas? Thanks! Michael ANSWER - I had waveform zoom turned on. Haha my bad
  3. Hi, Is there a way in Logic to change a software instrument track that was not originally set up as a multi-timbral to multi-timbral? Sometimes I decide to change a software instrument to multi-timbral in the middle of a project. I haven't ben able to find a way to change it. I've had to create a whole new software instrument as multi, and then copy over the regions. Am I missing something? thanks! mike
  4. Turns out I had 3 audio tracks with input monitoring turned on. That seemed to help but I still wonder why the OSX activity monitor said 90% idle?
  5. Hi. I'm using LPX and for some reason my CPU is staying at the spike level. I froze all of the tracks and it did not make a difference. I checked the OSX activity monitor and it said 90% of the CPU is idle. I'm using 1 track of Ivory, 1 track of Superior Drummer, and a couple Logic instruments. I'm running a 2008 Mac Pro dual quad 2.8 6GB RAM. Not sure what to do Any ideas? thanks! Mike
  6. Thanks for the reply. It's just seems like for now, It's quicker for me to use autotune 7. I really hope this issue gets fixed soon
  7. Yes I am seeing it. Did you ever find a fix? thanks mike
  8. Hi I unchecked and rechecked "catch when moving playhead". Also, I unchecked (and left unchecked) "Catch when Logic starts". Seems to be working fine now. I'll let you know if anything changes. Thanks! mike
  9. Hi David So here's what I've noticed so far. It's when I'm in the main window that the catch playhead it turns off once the play head gets all the way to the right of the timeline. It seems to reset the measures one time on the timeline and then turn off. But even when it does that kind of quickly pushes them to the left in kind of a jerky way. It does not look like it did in logic 9. I've also noticed that if I'm in the piano roll, catch play head works just fine. Resets the measures every time smoothly - Like in Logic 9 Does this shine any light on the issue? thanks! mike
  10. Yes the button turns itself when I am not doing anything but looking at the screen while the song is playing. It looks like it is an unexpected behavior. Let me know if you hear of a fix. Thanks! Mike
  11. Hi, I'm using logic Pro X and I'm noticing that I catch playhead button will not stay on. Am I missing something here? Or is this just a glitch? thanks! Mike
