  1. Thanks all! That other thread is great. Also, I haven't played around with smart controls enough. Will try that as well!
  2. Hi! I'm using the (sadly discontinued) sensel morph to control midi CCs. I have it set up so one slider is controlling CC 1, CC 11 and CC2 is set to pressure. I want to be able to set a minimum and maximum range of CC value for the individual CCs. What's the simplest way to do this? Essentially I want the velocity processor Midi fx plugin's range feature, but for specific to a CC (CC2 in this case). Thinking that perhaps the modifier plugin can do this, but I'm only seeing scale and add as options. Thanks!
  3. I actually tried sending a 24 ppqn clock from my eurorack, via the free Pam Sync plugin, and it works much better! Stops automatically and the whole deal. Ironic that the more old-timey technology works better. Maybe someday midi 2.0 will fix this. ill give the 5 pin a shot as well. thanks!
  4. Ooh that’s cool!! I’ll take a look, thanks! My main issue is actually just syncing up start time precisely more than the bpm issue. Using Logic as a clock source for my sequencer over usb is not working solidly, and I’m trying to figure a work around or why it’s not working better.
  5. Hi, I’m using the fantastic oxi one sequencer with Logic, but I’m having sync issues. If I send clock from Logic to the oxi it’s a little jittery and the bpm jumps around a bit before settling in, plus I have to play with the delay ms to get it close, and I have to vary the ms of delay depending on tempo. I’m hoping to instead use the start button on the oxi to start Logic as well. The oxi will send CC start and stop messages on a single midi channel, but I can’t figure out how to get it to control Logic. I tried mapping the keyboard shortcut for play/stop as a controller and then press learn, but it doesn’t see anything when I press the play button. Any suggestions?
  6. Amazing! This worked perfectly for me! Thanks so much @Atlas007! If I may, a follow up: what's the easiest way to import environment stuff into existing sessions or templates? I can see more or less the logic of what you did (pun intended), but would be great to just import this as is.
  7. This is awesome!! Excited to try this out! Thanks!
  8. Not urgent at all! I have little to no experience with the environment. I’ll poke around as time permits. Thanks very much! Happy Holidays!
  9. This sounds quite ingenious! Would this be an environment kinda thing? Or can I do this with the midi scripter thing? I’m not sure how to achieve… thanks!
  10. Hi, I want to use the sustain pedal to control a keyswitch, or more specifically: I've loaded a sustained strings patch, and a staccato strings patch onto one instance of Musio (or Kontakt, or whatev). I set the sustain instrument to midi channel 1, and the staccato to midi channel 2. I have the routing set up correct if it's a note on situation, but I'm hoping that I can make this function like a piano, and have the sustain patch only play when the sustain pedal is down. I've figured out that if I go to the switches page of the articulation set and then select type as controller, selector to 64 then I can successfully trigger the sustain patch, however, I can't figure out how to make it switch back when the sustain is released. I tried setting the controller type for the staccato patch also to the sustain but with a value start of 0 to 10, and it's not working. I would think that the secret here is in setting the mode to "toggle" but I'm not having success with that or momentary, etc. Thanks in advance!
  11. Thanks so much! Got tricked up by the word “insert” but this makes perfect sense now. Appreciate all the responses!
  12. I'm actually still stumped... the "copy section between locators (global)" doesn't paste the markers. Do I have to do something more fancy than just paste? I didn't know that create marker based on a region shortcut, that's a great one. It's great that it names the marker based on the region. Super handy. Thanks oscwilde!
  13. How would cut/insert time work if I wanted to for example, copy a verse and pre chorus and copy and drag that to the end of the session? Actually, I just discovered "copy section between locators" but it's not copying the markers when I then move the playhead to a blank spot at the end of the session and then paste... Thanks!
  14. I've just recently discovered the beauty of the "Cut section between locators (global)" shortcut which has saved a ton of time when I'm changing arrangements, or editing music to shorter versions. That got me thinking: is there an easy way to highlight or select everything within the locators, including global information? For instance if I highlight one four bar chunk of a single track and then turn on cycle for that region, I want to be able to grab everything at that time, plus the markers, so I can copy it, move it around, etc. Is there a shortcut or a workflow recommendation for this? Highlighting all the regions in the edit window isn't cumbersome, but then I have to shift click on the individual markers, which is annoying. Thanks!
  15. There it is! I missed that you have to click on "Side Chain" first. Much appreciated!
