  1. Yep. That was it. I thought I'd looked carefully at that and verified that I hadn't done that, but looking at the latest one, they both were checked off. Obviously I slipped. What's weird is that I couldn't see it even when looking for it. Brain fog. Thank you, David!

    Bouncing

When attempting to bounce a track to a file on my desktop as an mp3, LPX creates both an mp3 and m4a. Why? I can use one or the other but don't need both. TIA Kelly Moore
  3. Normalize now off. That was it! Many thanks! Kelly Moore
  4. I tried that, and it didn't make any difference. Thank you for your reply.
  5. I am upgrading my live show backing tracks to play from a Denon DN -F350 rack mount mp3/mp4 player using a flash drive. I'm using tracks created in Band In A Box 2013 and Logic Pro X. I save all tracks from BIAB as mp4a tracks to my desktop, and then drag those tracks into LPX. I do some editing, including levels. The problem is that some of the tracks from BIAB are too low compared to the other tracks, and even though I raise their levels in LPX, when they are then saved into iTunes, their volumes are then lowered back to orig levels. I do not have any limiting or compression on the tracks. No matter what I do in an attempt to raise their levels in LPX, they end up in iTunes back at the original levels. I A/B the output levels of the tracks in LPX and iTunes and they are distinctly different. Suggestions? TIA Kelly Moore Macbook OS 10.13.6 Band In A Box Version 2013 Build 74 Logic Pro X Version 10.4.8 iTunes Version 12.8.2.3
  6. I am unable to get Garritan to work in LPX. I've done all the install steps and track creation and it shows up in the track but when I play the midi keyboard there is no sound. Specifically, I can play LPX and other Apple sounds but not Garritan. Yes, I filled in the Garritan info for the instrument and outputs. I'm probably not giving enough info here. I did have an Apple tech crawl around inside my computer, but she had no helpful ideas. She didn't know Garritan. So this will require someone who actually uses and knows both. Suggestions? TIA Kelly Moore
  7. I finished a project on Logic Pro and "Shared" it to iTunes, but only 37 seconds of the song shows up in iTunes. The project is only 1:08 long (that's min:sec). Suggestions? TIA
  8. Sorry. Been out gigging. Finally have a chance back at this. Can you please explain what you are saying. I did create a new project and imported the track from an mp3 that I loaded in from a CD. Is that different than what you are saying. I also experienced this with another project. TIA
  9. Unfortunately it appears to have returned. I replaced the audio track which was an mp3 that I dragged into the track. A friend informed me it's much better to import than drag. Seemed to fix it, but a few days later the problem returned. So...any suggestions? TIA
  10. I don't know how to show this topic as finished. Please advise. Thanks.
  11. OK, I deleted the offending punch-in, the track works, I reworked that section, and it's fine. Must have been something defective in the punch-in track. Thanks all for your help.
  12. Eric and G-Dub, Thanks both for your suggestions. 1. I was able to fix the notification issue. It had changed for some unknown reason. Should be receiving them again now. 2. Found the CPU and I/O meters and watched before, during and after the stop. No change in meters. 3. G-Dub, not sure which you're referring to about slowness, but on other songs I've had several tracks running without any difficulty and this is basically one track with a short punch in on a separate track, which is exactly where it stops. I'm thinking that since it's such a small project I should just start over and rebuild. Suggestions? Thanks
  13. Hi Eric. Thanks for your reply. For some reason I never got a notification of it. Also not entirely sure what I did to find my post and this message. The forum is still tricky for me to understand. Can't seem to easily locate anything. At any rate, I changed the buffer size to 512 as you suggest and it still stalls out. Same error message. I don't know how to look at CPU meter or disk meter? Can use all the help I can get. Again, thanks.
  14. Playing back single track with one additional short track near the end and everything stops and displays the following error message: Disk is too slow or system overload Please advise. TIA
