... audio clips without using the automation tool, just mark a tiny section of the audio file, and lower it with 1.5db for instance... or mute sections, without cutting the track into pieces? http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t310/Microdomus/Skjermbilde%202018-03-24%20kl.%2015.03.51.png I recently switched from using Logic Pro 9, to the latest and greatest... version X. And as always with switching to a new software, some functions I've been used to has gotten new names, moved around, removed, etc....

Here it is, the full medley consisting of 32 songs! Was a TON of work recording/filming all of this stuff, took aprox 4 months to complete. So... what was supposed to be a 12 minute medley consisting of a my fave Black Sabbath riffs, ended up being 38 minutes instead. It was never ending, discovering another riff, then another+++ I ended up with 3 medleys in "the end", thought I`d share Part 1 with you folks.... I chose to focus on the classic Ozzy albums for now, but I`m sure I`ll revisit Sabbath at some point later for some Ronnie James Dio/Tony Martin era covers ( 2 -3 medleys more?, bah gawd! ) Besides using my trusty Gibson Flying V, GoPro, Axe-Fx 2,+++ I used this very pick I got from Tony Iommi at a Sabbath gig in Oslo `98... which I guess is a bit kewl http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t310/Microdomus/Skjermbilde_2017-04-23_kl_20_04_27.jpg

So... the final one for 2016! And after such a dreadful year, how about some "cheerful" tones of Fenriz`s one man black/folk metal project, Isengard! Happy Yule, folks!

Another one for wicked Burzum... Pretty happy with the bass drum sound in this one, tried some frequency cutting on the guitars/bass...

So I`m in full cover mode these days, and bands/artists on the meny are nothing but old school black/death/thrash metal bands. Never try to emulate their playing style or tone, just my fave guitar/bass/drum tone and hit record... Latest cover is of my fave norwegian black metal band, Darkthrone! Was lucky enough to see these guys play live 20 years ago, so making this "tribute" video was a no-brainer! Posted these before, but they go along with this concept...

Posting this here, as it`s kinda the same concept... a heavy version of a synthwave/retrowave tune 8) Among my favorite bands these days, just had to make my version of CARPENTER BRUT!

Thought I`d share my latest creative abomination, this time with an added GoPro camera! Doing a couple of covers of my old black metal heroes, Venom and Bathory. Probably next after that is Slayer and Black Sabbath, we`ll see... I used Logic Pro 9 for all the recordings, and Final Cut Pro X for the video. All in all lot`s of work, but that`s the way I like it! Like I`ve done in past threads, playing my intepritation of other peoples music is what I`m mostly into these days. So I`ll update this thread from time to time to expose my latest "vandalisms"...
