  1. @Jordi Torres AHHH now I found it... It didn't show on the main interface, I had to go Track Inspector... It works now, thanks!
  2. @Jordi Torres Doesn't work still. Hm, maybe that means that my region can't have fades? I'm having my track in a folder stack, let me see if that changes anything... Edit: Nope, still nothing.
  3. @Jordi Torres "...or changing its position (as if you were using the pointer tool)?" Exactly this!
  4. Preferences -> General -> Editing -> Pointer Tool in Tracks Provides / Fade Tool click zones -> Enabled. Still doesn't work.
  5. Thanks for you answer. Well, neither one of your solutions seem to work. I don't want to use automation, because I have delay effects on the track itself and I don't want to lose them. I disabled Flex and everything else, but it still moves the track instead of adding a fade to it... Any more ideas? It's crucial by the way, because I'm about to release this song, but the only thing that is bugging me is that popping sound on the audio track, and I can't get rid of it... I even tried to add a fade to all the tracks via Region editor (?) and set the Fade In & Out to 1
  6. Hey, I'm using Logic Pro X, and I've come to a strange bug (I don't know how, though). It happens only to some of the projects, so I guess it is possible to solve this problem somehow. Basically what happens - when I choose Fade Tool, and try to add a fade on my audio track by dragging it along it doesn't add a fade, instead it moves the track itself in the direction I'm dragging the Fade Tool... This happens in main window as well as in editor window. I really want to get rid of the popping sound of the audio track, but right now I can't, so what should I do...?
  7. Thanks for the answers! @Jordi Torres I find the explanation confusing... "You then set it's "To:" parameter to a CC of your choice, click the parameter you want to control with the LFO (pan pot, etc), and use Logic's MIDI Learn function to make the assignment: Command-L, press play to make the Modulator output its data, then close the controller assignments window to get out of Learn mode." I found the Modulator and its LFO, but... What is a CC? For example is "Pitchbend" a CC? If I choose this one, Command-L doesn't work. So I tried choosing "-Learn-" and then pressed the combination and it gave me this window on the left (the one on the right is just to make sure that everything is okay with modulator): http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/3703/vpuw.png I don't know how to continue. It seems that I didn't really connect my audio track to this software instrument track and it's not being affected. Hope you answer
  8. Thanks for the answers! @Jordi Torres I got quite lost and don't know how to continue. I want to make sure that I understood you correctly. Here are the pictures of what I've got right now: External MIDI window http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/6776/zp1v.png Software Instrument window http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9421/5l0n.png @gdoubleyou This is interesting, yes! I'll see whether I can purchase it or not soon. I've had bad experience installing VST before so I'm not feeling very comfortable. @David Nahmani The goal right now is to control Pan, right. But I want to be able to assign anything on my LFOs, be it Volume or Pan, and right now I can't find how to do it on Audio tracks...
  9. Hey, I just got Logic Pro (X), and I'm still finding its functionality. I know all the things I want, and how they are called and used in practice but I just can't find an optimal way of achieving various goals on this software. For example, I know how to set up LFO's on my synths (+software instruments). However if I have an Audio Track, what should I do to set an independent* LFO on the Audio Track and tell it to control its Pan, for example. That should work in theory, but I just can't find a way to do it... Creating independent LFO's and putting them in various parts of the mix and manipulating with their parameters is what I'm looking for. So any optimal (or at least existing) way of doing that? Thanks, good day!
