  1. OK, I'll give them a heads up - thanks. You think this is something that is really wanted or more of a niche thing?
  2. Looks like Cubase has a nice program that allows for peer to peer recording within its DAW. Is there something like this for Logic or is someone working on something like this for the future? PLEASE !! I'm dying to get my hands on something like this since my band mates are in different states and different countries now. Here is a video: http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/vst/vst_connect/vst_connect_pro.html
  3. Thanks. It worked with the new user account. Went back to the old account and still doesn't work. So it looks like it is something with the permissions then. I'm still learning a lot of basics about computers (like - how do I access the songs that are on the old account when I'm in the new account). Do I need to abandon the old account or is there still a way to salvage the settings?
  4. I just checked both and I have read & write permission for both.
  5. Apple checked that but could not find the answer. I'll call in again and have them re-check iTunes permissions because I'm not sure they spent enough time investigating that angle. They had me reload both LPX and iTunes and even reloaded the OS. Thanks for the suggestion.
  6. Have had this issue since about 5 days after downloaded LPX about 2 months ago. With LP9 I used to bounce the song to iTunes but now there is a share function. The share function worked perfectly for about a week then all of a sudden I started having multiple issues with LPX and my computer. I called the Apple rep and we worked through most of the problems but he was stumped with the share issue. I use the share function and it goes through the process of converting the song but it never makes it to iTunes and can't be found anywhere in my system. The rep suggested I go back to using the bounce feature and saving to desktop then slide it over to iTunes. He was going to get back to me when they figured it out but that was two months ago. I figured I'd try here before I call back to see what's up. Any clues? I'm running LPX 10 (version 10.0.4 - updated today 10/23) on an Mid 2011 iMac - Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 - Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 - Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB. I also updated to OS X Mavricks today and it help the CPU spiking issue - so that's pretty cool. Thanks
