  1. For me, it's been consistent since updating to Catalina, which brought LPX 10.4.8 with it. Not sure how else to figure out what triggers it since it happens 100% of the time.
  2. Guess it's time to send a bug report to apple
  3. Good to know it's not just me lol
  4. I just tested it and it works as expected here. Can you give it a try in a new empty project, only one track, send to a bus, control-click the right channel strip in the Inspector and choose Create Track? Just tried it, no luck :/
  5. I send all my track stacks to reverb and delay busses, and when I need to automate something on the bus I've always been able to right click on the bus channel strip in the left side of the Arrange window, click Create Track, and it would show up as a track in the Arrange window that I can automate. Since updating to 10.4.8, Create Track does nothing. I have to go into the Mixer window and do it from there (Create Track works when clicked in the Mixer window, just not on the Arrange window.) Anyone else experiencing this and/or have been able to fix it? Minor annoyance overall but as it's something I have to do frequently it's been getting on my nerves. Thanks!
  6. Haha I will never turn on natural scrolling. It weirds me out, always has, always will. Guess I'll just deal with this until Apple (hopefully one day) adds a Logic scrolling preference
  7. Looking on the Steermouse website, it says it does not support Apple's magic mouse (which I presume to mean it does not support Magic Mouse 2 which is what I have). Any other ideas?
  8. So the TLDR is get Steermouse and I can use that to have it go back to making the fader do what I'm used to (up when scrolled up, down when scrolled down)?
  9. Right, this is happening in the Inspector not the mixer window. @Des, no I don't and never have had any software that changes mouse behavior.
  10. Should have clarified this is ONLY happening on the faders and Aux sends. Nowhere else on the computer. Natural scrolling is turned off in system preferences. This seems to be an issue specifically within logic and specifically on the faders and Aux send "knobs", scrolling in the arrangement window and mixer window is all normal.
  11. I recently updated to LPX 10.4.8 and Catalina, and am now realizing that somewhere along the way Logic reversed how it responds to scrolls on faders and aux sends. It used to be that when i scrolled down on my mouse, the fader would move down, and when i scrolled up it would move up. Now it's reversed - if I scroll down on the mouse, it moves the fader up, and vice versa. Anyone know if there's a setting to switch this back? As far as minor annoyances go, it's high up on the list.
  12. Appreciate the answer! Didn't consider that bit about how things will likely sound different through the stack processing without all the other sounds coming at it as well. Makes sense then why this isn't a readily-available option built into Logic. The Solo workaround should suffice for now. Thanks!
