  1. 1. Yes it does change to the vertical chevrons 2&3. I've tried with both the magic mouse 2 and the magic trackpad 2 4. It happens regardless of what I have running 5. It's sporadic and triggers, what seems to be, randomly and stays that way in certain projects. Changing user account doesn't help
  2. Bumpin cause it's still a problem
  3. Yes. It's been happening for a couple years now through all updates and OS changes
  4. I've had this bug for years now. It seems to be absolutely random and it comes and goes. Basically anytime I try to change values using click and drag in the control bar/display it won't work. Meaning I have to manually enter the bpm, varispeed deviation, playhead position, etc. My click and drag is workin just fine for everything in the inspector/mixer view though. What's extra strange is that when I'm in quick sampler I get the same behavior that I do in the control bar/display. I can't click and drag the fade/start/end markers or their respective values but I can use the "scroll wheel" to do so. All of the other values like pan, volume, etc. I'm able to change as normal. No other plugins have this problem afaik. It's the same behavior with magic mouse and trackpad. I'm sure it's not the OS cause as I said it's been happening for a LONG time now through many different OS/Logic versions. Maybe there's a setting somewhere that keeps magically changing itself? Any help would be great appreciated
  5. By activate, did you mean it starts playing back on its own? No, the playhead will catch when you're on cycle mode even when you have catch playhead turned off. It said it was fixed in the release notes but it's definitely still not fixed
  6. Guys I'm gonna test it out now. But I just checked the release notes for 10.6 and peep: - Resolves an issue where Catch Playhead sometimes unexpectedly activates in the Piano Roll own editing notes during playback. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203718
  7. Guys they finally listened!!!!!!!!! - Resolves an issue where Catch Playhead sometimes unexpectedly activates in the Piano Roll own editing notes during playback.
  8. Yea, I heard about that and it sucks cause I can't figure out what else I would wanna use them for? I just wanna be able to redo, create duplicate track, copy, paste, cut, delete from my f keys
  9. Can you see Panorama (Internal) as a MIDI input in Logic? Yea I did that. I ended up having to go into audio midi setup, deleting the panorama, and then powering it on. Working perfect since then. Now if I can just figure out how to program these f keys then I've got it made
  10. Anyone find a solution to this? I've installed the latest firmware on my p6, cycled power on the comp/logic/controller, see 4 ports in audio/midi setup and Logic still doesn't have panorama in the list of control surfaces
  11. oh wow i don't know why i didn't think to duplicate the track. Thank you for both options! i appreciate your help. No prob! In case you didn't already use the second option, there's a third much easier option I literally just found. Right click on the region > automation > move track data to region
  12. not near my computer now, but i understand i have to option drag the automation points and place them to perfection on the audio region each time i want to sweep. I was wondering if i can embed the sweep in one single audio region so i can just option drag THAT instead for convenience. I have different notes and such on my audio track, so i cannot copy and paste those audio regions otherwise the audio will overlap instead of JUST the automation points. Does that make sense? Please let me know, because i always suck at explaining these things. Yea I think I'm the one that's being confusing actually. What I was tryin to say is select the track that contains the region where you want the automation copied over. Duplicate said track (cmd+d). Then select the actual region (not it's automation) from the original track and option drag it down to the duplicated track. All of your parameters for automation should thus be copied over without that "unused" tag. Now what you're gonna have to do from there is delete the region you just option dragged without deleting the automation when the prompt comes up. Then drag/create the new region that has your desired notes into the duplicated track. Your copied automation should remain in tact. Another option is to redo the automation and record it into the region instead of the track. To do this activate automation by pressing "a". You should see track in blue, you can hit that once and it'll change to region. I was havin a similar problem to yours a couple months back and found out about both of these options accidentally
  13. i'd still have to copy and paste each automated parameter to the different sections for all three parameters. I wanted to know if i can somehow make this easier? seems like the empty audio region method would be faster if it's possible....maybe i'm doing something wrong. You shouldn't if you're duplicating and option dragging. You have screen shots or maybe a screencap of what you're doin?
  14. Have you tried duplicating the track then option dragging the region down into the duplicated track? You should get a prompt that asks if you want to copy the automation data also
