  1. More and more elements are being removed from the UI frameworks, so you cannot make color changes with these via file editing anymore. You can check LPXColorizer, its the only remaining solution that can still access those visual elements.
  2. Just a quick heads up LPXColorizer now support Logic 10.5
  3. It's for logic pro! LPXColorizer is only meant to work with Logic. By Studio One Theme I meant a Logic theme with the Studio One colours!
  4. There is a Studio One theme that comes with LPXColorizer V2 You can check a preview here
  5. If you make a duplicate of the default Theme in LPXColorizer and then just change the Green default to some other colors in the Color Palette editor, then Logic will keep the same UI but when you create a track by default it will always wear this new colour.
  6. This is the sad truth about Software development cost & maintenance! Besides all of its other features: LPXColorizer features an auto drawing engine that recognizes borders gradients and backgrounds of images, which was custom made for Logic. That only costs a lot of cash in development. But I understand your point, however, let me tell you, It is not LPXColorizer that is expensive, it is Logic Pro that is freakingly cheap for what you get. Apple business model is not tailored around software sales, they build few native apps that did not become business-standard compare to windows. Logic is a success though, why? because music makers trust mac machines more than windows machines, and they would gladly go with the native program considering it's features competes with the best Daws of the market, and it's low price tag. You got it, they can sell at a low price because Apple's business model revolves around Hardware, they sell expensive machines and make more profit there. It's just sad that now people get used to these low prices as new standards, it really makes other business struggle.
  7. I tried voice commander but I didn't see how it could select a specific track by name, and I'm definitely not sure if that's even possible. How would you access the array of track numbers and names? Logic does send a track name as OSC message, but only if you select it. Hi, you say you have tried? And it did not work? Couple of things to consider: 1. With the demo version, you will only be able to select the top 5 tracks of your project. 2. Make sure the remote iOS app and your mac are connected to the same wifi network or personal hotspot 3. Make sure the Voice Commander controller is running on your mac and that Logic is selected in the Daw target dropdown menu (see attachement). 4. Make sure Voice Commander is listening (tap the big middle button on the remote, it will listen continuously for the commands listed in the controller), else you can also tap on a track row in the track view of the controller to check if the setup is working fine. Let me know if you have any questions,
  8. Hi All, I forgot to announce here that LPXColorizer supports now Logic 10.5 and the above updates! Do not forget to add the little Colorizer Helper Plugin on the output track of your project. It features new themes, refreshed versions of the old themes, and a new grid & background customizer tool for the arranged window. (you can go darker & brighter than Logic's editor). thank you to all who supports us and have shown interest
  9. We would be very keen to bring LPXColorizer features to Logic Pro 10.5. It supports only versions up to 10.4.8 at the moment. It’s kind of sad that we cannot work more closely with some of the Logic Pro developers, they could get inspired also from what indie developers do. In the end, it is all about bringing value to Logic and its community of users…
  10. Hey Guys, Just a quick notice to let you know that LPXColorizer now supports Logic Pro X up to 10.4.8 included. In the brand new Logic 10.5, the mixer window (yes same old!) is not supported at this time, and I do not know when it will yet. Apple comes up with new creative ways to draw is interface lately, and it takes time to pick up the pace. Anyhow, I hope that most of you don't have to update to 10.5 yet and will profit from this new update. On top of the full mixer window support, we added a handy theme preview from the theme selector drop-down menu. Steps to update LPXColorizer: -Open the LPXColorizer app -Go to the top bar Menu LPXColorizer > Check for update -Update to 1.5.1 Enjoy & stay tuned.
  11. Actually there is an application that does what you did and what you want to be doing, provided you have an iPhone. It's a voice assistant for Logic Pro X and you can assign functions to voice commands, including selecting tools. You define a voice command you want to say and link it to the function, e.g say "marquee" to select the marquee tool. Once you launch the app it will ask you to import your key commands from Logic Pro, then you to download and launch the iOS app for the voice recognition. (the assistant environment is comprised of two apps running simultaneously, one on the mac and another one on the phone, they can both work in the background. (when phone is sleeping). You can also select tracks by track name and do other cool stuff. They run machine learning algorithm to better understand what you say as you go. (machine learning algorithms means the app gets better over time, but it works very well right from the bat and is faster & more accurate than the macOS dictation) since the dictionaries are built from your logic pro project. You can check the website here:Voice Commander Daw
  12. Customizing the mixer channel strip background color and some of the buttons is not possible anymore in Logic 10.4.5!!! I have looked up in the binary files, and it shows they are drawing these buttons programatically, while the resources files are still there as images. I do believe this is a temporary thing, but I would like to give my feedback to them through my Apple Developer account and ask that they make these elements editable again. If you think alike, please sign this petition I just set up, I will forward it to them, so I don't sound just whimsical when we get in touch: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1099fm5B87dLIQO1hgRXe3yocbM6pKNKEwS-wdTq-_-U/edit#gid=0 and please share wherever you see Logic users! Thank you all
  13. Mojave Dark Mode For Logic Pro X For late night work Darker Greys Softer Blues Softer Level Meters designed using LPX Colorizer: https://colorizer.creationauts.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=959
  14. I was looking for doing this same thing, hooking it up to my launchpad mini, but in the end, it was not streamlined enough for me, so I developed this program, that can control logic and select track with voice just like you would ask siri to do it. The beta of the app is available LPX Voice Commander Let me know what you think about that solution
  15. Howdy Logic Customizers! Just a quick post to inform you that the new update of LPX Colorizer (1.4.0.6) supports SKins exports! Have fun!
