  1. Hello All, Yesterday we were working on a Logic 9 project (on El Capitan) and after quitting Logic and coming back the recorded audiofiles were missing. So here's what we did:1. The project folder (with all the audio files, backup files, fade files,..) was on external drive A, so we copied it to the internal SSD drive of the studio computer (we just dragged the entire project folder from the external drive to the internal SSD, so it started copying everything) 2. We then worked from this copied folder on the SSD drive and recorded saxophones and all worked well, everything played and got recorded. (external drive A was still connected to the computer..maybe that is part of the problem?) 3. When we were done we dragged the project folder from the SSD to another external drive B. On this drive was a folder with the same name, so finder asks to ‘replace', we clicked ok.. 4. After closing and reopening Logic gave us the missing audio files message..and the sax files are gone (not on SSD, A or B). When Logic asks for the missing files, it says the path for the missing sax files is external drive B?? So i am really confused. Somehow while dragging the folder to drive B and clicking ‘replace’, Logic changed the recording path to external drive B? I know it's better to use the 'save a's function when saving projects to external drives so i will do it this way in the future.. Also i am moving to Logic X now, so this is one of my last projects in Logic 9, because it is not supported in El Capitan.. Could someone maybe help me with this? Many Thanks, Jan

  4. Hello, i don't see the checkbox 'Copy audio file names to track names' in my Logic session (Logic 9.1.8, Mavericks) (see screenshot) Am i missing something?

  6. I will have minimum 6 plugins on each track (+- 40 tracks) in the same order: GAIN - EQ - COMP - … like on a real console I would like to select a track and go to the screen set for that track that shows me all the plugins for that track IN ONE CLICK Then i can see all the plugins for that track and start controlling the basic parameters with my midi controller If i program the gain slider of the gain plugin to button A on my controller then i want button A to be the gain slider for ALL the gain plugins of all tracks .. you see?
  7. Hi, I would like to know if it's possible to select a track (in the mixer or arrange window) and simultaneously go to a specific screen set for that selected track Let me explain: …i saved screen sets for all my tracks … these show me all the plugin windows for each track …i now want to control all plugins for that track with my controller …to make it easy to go to each screen set, i made an environment window with buttons that output the meta event 49 (go to screen set) I attached a project where i am stuck: ..i push the meta 49 button of screen set 3 … i then select track 3 in the arrange …now i can midi control those plugins of track 3 ..i push the meta 49 button of screen set 2 … i then forget to select track 2 in the arrange … now i think i am controlling the plugins of track 2 but the selected track in the arrange window is STILL track 3 so i am controlling the plugins of track 3 ! ! ! I simply would like to: 1. select a track in the mixer/arrange window and simultaneously send out meta event 49 which takes me to the screen set for this track with all it's plugin windows 2. see all the plugins of that track and do midi control for each plugin.. Is this possible? I am sure it is! (i am on Logic 9.1.8 and MAC OS X 10.8.5) thanks a lot! screensets project.zip
