This is the one main issue (or series of issues) that has driven me to start considering cubase after years in logic. Anyone have any guess as to why this is not. being addressed? Must be some under-the-hood not really possible stuff going on (?)

Experiencing this as well out of nowhere, in the middle of a session with nothing changed

We just did the test this am and got 275 tracks on the nMP 16 core. FWIW we are having major issues running more than even 7 instances of Massive X. Something is up with it (and perhaps diva) in terms of utilizing threads properly or because its Catalina or something. No idea as of yet. Will update.

10.4.4 is now out, will check to see if still happening for me too

Yes absolutely. We sent a note to them, so fingers crossed! I could see a number of people getting good use out of this is they can make it happen.

Hi there, has anyone found a way to rename the bus I/O "banks"? I know how to rename the normal Bus I/O but having the hardest time finding out how to rename the groups or banks of buses. For example, in this picture I posted below, I would love to rename the main tabs for buses 33-64 "Dynamics" > 65-96 "Reverb" > etc... Thanks for any guidance!

10.3.1 is crashing as soon as I click to add an insert on a channel. The same session (which originally created in 10.2.4) opens fine on an imac in the same room running 10.3.1 It opens fine in 10.3.1, but as soon as I click it crashes. Any thoughts? cheers

Anyone else working with video? Noticing something weird. A session was created on Logic 10.2.4 (on machine #1) Same session opened and re-saved in 10.3 (on machine #2) for editing purposes. Opened newly saved session back up in 10.2.4 (machine #1), seems fine until... When I attempt to do a tempo change, the video file also speeds up or slows down along with the tempo. I've never seen this. If things aren't SMPTE locked, the audio & midi changes like normal, but the video should never speed up or slow down from a tempo change. Any thoughts? Cheers

Hey thanks for the quick reply David. Ive been doing that so far, just making individual sessions for particular themes and importing. Just seeing if there was perhaps a quicker way since the summing stack is 95% of the way there. I would love an additional option when saving a patch to save w or without regions. One little box to check type of scenario. edit: btw David your posts over the years have been life saving, thanks for your work you do.

Howdy A grateful longtime lurker here. I was curious if anyone knew how to make a User patch from a stack summing stack WITH corresponding midi. In other words, instead of using the import function, I would love to be able to make a custom patch, from say 10 layers playing a melody. This would be a huge feature if I could take whole phrases (think chord progressions, themes and sonic templates) to use for other sections in my projects. I'm currently working on a tv show, and would love to be able to save custom user patches with midi regions for multiple episodes. Currently I can only figure out how to make a stack and then patch but no regions come with.. Many thanks > B

Hi there, This seemed to randomly occur and I can't for the life of me figure it out. Logic is connected to my MIDI keyboard just fine, and I can hear the output. But when I record (the track is record enabled) logic does not record the MIDI notes. This must be very simple. I checked the hotkeys and I don't seen anything relating this to a MIDI parameter. Any ideas? Many thanks
