  1. Hello rAC, Thank you very much for your reply: I apologize that I did not respond when I got this part to work. I had to start a brand new template in Logic and when started this it did work and it will even switch from VSL Duality Strings Colors too Regular to get the pizzicato. At first Logic wouldn't rerecord the articulations from the piano roll inspectors articulation set dropdown but then after restarting the new computer then it would. Thank You, Alan
  2. Hello, I tested this today to see if I could get the VSL Instruments to work in the articulation sets and it isn't possible to edit the field, to name the articulation or name the set. And when I tried to use the dropdown menu in the symbol column all the names seem to show woodwind names and when assigning key switches it shakes. I can possibly record a screen session if you would like to see it. It's a template. Thank You, Alan
  3. Hi Jodi, Thank you for letting me know.
  4. Hello, Does anyone know if you can do expression maps in Logic like Dorico does - Dorico has an expression maps window where you define the key switches and then in the score section you can add lets say for example pizzicato or Arco and in the score and the sound comes out being pizzicato or Arco. Thank You, Alan
  5. Hello, Printing has to be done in Dorico. Thank You, Alan Warrick
  6. Logic needs to bounce to the master output because all the outputs need to be combined into something.
  7. I am not looking for anyone to fix this I need to do that myself I am runnning 10.4.6 on Mac OS 10.13.6 and the reason I sent the screenshot is to show what is happening. For example can you print from linear view? This is a full orchestral score and all instruments are selected. Chances are it's internal or the file is corrupt - Enginerring says there are to many tracks. I use a laptop 15" so reducing the view makes it tiny to read and it still doesn't fit on the screen. You don't need a project file it's just a question. If you have to use page view and it must be a picture and use preview this is the question. I set the margens as directed for paper size. If I only print a single page that was cutoff when printing all of the pages it's still cut off. Changing the size settings in the staff style window does not help Thank You
  8. Hello, Here is a screenshot of part of the score. Thank You, Alan Warrick
  9. Hello, Thank you for your questions! I used a lot of paper sizes but oversize Tablod was one I used a lot and with both Portrait and Landscape. What would happen is the notes in the solo flute would get garbled like there was many a thick pen with to many notes. And the pages would get cut off starting at page 22 or 89 This was a full orchestra score. Thank You, Alan Warrick
  10. I suppose I could upload a section of the score to show what i does if that would be ok.
  11. Hello, I hope I'm posting a repetitive post but if I could preview and print in text edit I could actually print this score! It's way off he page in any printing paper used even in oversized Tabloid. There's a half page left over on each page until the orchestration gets fuller and then it runs off the end of the page and gets cut off. But also it has horrible printing like if you took a pen and scribbled on it. Does anyone here print full orchestra scores? Thank You, Alan Warrick
  12. I am sorry but if you are doing a crescendo you would not want to increase by whole decibel values would you? If so you would not sound very musical if I am wrong about the list window values or if there is an obvious solution that most of us should know then I regret that I missed that.
  13. Hello, Thank you for your reply! I use the list window sometimes but the values are to rounded or to the nearest whole value. And I need to have patience points sometimes.
  14. You are correct I should of not posted it.
