  1. Hello there! I was wondering if there is a 'select unmuted regions/files' in arrange view? I noticed that there is a select all muted tracks function but I am kinda looking for the opposite of that. I do a lot of glitch kind of editing, which means that I will have a lot of tracks where I cut out different parts and I would love to know if there is an easy way for me to do fade-ins/fade-outs on these instead of my having to individually select lets say 200 different audio cuts. One thing I could do is select all muted regions and delete them and then it would be easy to just select all the rest and do fade-in/fade-out but what if I want to keep my muted regions? I am not sure if this makes sense. It is a question I have been wondering about for a bit of time. Thanks in advance to anyone who can give any guidance!
  2. Hello there! I am doing a little tempo change in one of my current pieces. I am changing my tempo from 90 to 60 BPM. Is there any way to make an audio track i.e. a drum loop follow the tempo-change dynamically? Thank you in advance! Would really love to know if there is a possibility of this either in logic itself or possibly 3rd party plugin you know of.
  3. Hi fellows! I would be so grateful if you could assist me with this issue I am having as it is heavily interfering with my work. About a week ago I got this feedback issue, I do not know how it originated, there was not an issue before and I haven't changed my setup. I have attached a demo of the constant feedback I am getting when I am in Logic Pro X and have input turned on from my Scarlett Interface jack input to my guitar. I have nudging things around, changing guitar cable, attempted to see if I could find the problem in regards to the power outlet but so far in vain. I do not think it is my pods of my guitar there is still a heavy feedback sound when I touch the jack at the edge with my finger, however there is no static when the cable is just lying on the ground. If there is any other information you need please let me know these are just the things that come into mind. I will happily re-pay you in a batch of cookies if you help me fix this issue 🙂 Thanks in advance Untitled 45_1#01.wav
  4. I'll do that then! Thanks for the response.
  5. Hi there! Hope someone will be able to inform/help me with this particular issue. In this specific project I encountered this (referring to attached photo) It does the same both with every audio track as well as instrument track I make. The project has around 140 tracks, but I've done other's with plenty more as well as more instrument tracks, so I'm not quite sure what it is about. I've had it happen once before, but ended up just gathering everything into another project even though it was a bit of a hassle. Therefore, I'm hoping maybe something/someone can save me the troubles this time haha. Thanks in advance and hope you're all doing alright in this time.
  6. Yes. I've bounced it bounced it with normalize off and it's still happening although again the glitch just happened a second beforehand. I could essentially end up just bouncing it as 2 seperate and crossfading them together, but would be nice to sort this out if possible.
  7. Hi folks! I hope you can perhaps assist me in figuring out what is going on here. I've mixed and mastered a particular song today and when I bounced it down I get this glitch-type sound at a pretty specific place each time (various in how apparent it sounds and can happen within a 2 second-ish span). I've tried bouncing it a few times both in 48 and 44.1 but doesn't seem to help. I tried looking for dumb things that perhaps I had automated a bit roughly in terms of plugins bypassing or likewise, but nothing there either. It is also important that I say that this issue doesn't happen on playback when listening to it in Logic Pro X. Tried bouncing it in WAV vs mp3 to see if anything differed, but again no change. I'll post a short clip to demonstrate: [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/user-949241599/glitch[/soundcloud] Thanks in advance to any kind soul that might have a solution
  8. Hey fellows. I really hope that this is an okay section to post this in. I couldn't figure out where to post this exactly. I'm running Logic Pro X and have been using my MBP earlier to compose, where I put my Kontakt sample libraries on an 1TB external hard drive because of only having a 250 GB SSD. But I just bought a new iMac today with 32 GB RAM and 3,11 TB fusion drive. So my question is: Is it better/faster to keep them stored and access them from the external hard drive (USB 3.0) or put them on my partition(ed?) drive. That is of course not the main drive with OS and apps on it. Thank you in advance!
  9. Hi again. Yes I've tried everything regarding Disk Utility and nothing has sorted it out. I was able to import all the audio as well as importing tempo and now getting my hands on the midi files, which wasn't working before! So now I can atleast build it up from somewhere again. Thank you a lot. Probably still going to take a little while to manage this project back on track, but I can see that it is possible now at least so thanks a tonne! Will take a break from it now as my mind is too heated and my external drive needs a timeout . Thank you again kind fellow and have a nice day!
  10. Hi Arnaud. So I tried all the above you've written and so far: I could get everything to work as far as importing all the audio tracks and even importing the project tempo. I played back with everything although not with the bip. files af the kontakt instruments I have rendered earlier. I can only import all the remaining kontakt tracks now (when I press 1 of them it highlights everything, I can't select just 1 for some reason). When I try to do this it get's grumpy immediately. It is worth mentioning that the projects are on an external harddrive as well as my kontakt libraries and as soon as I do this (importing kontakt tracks) it just won't work. I can't even access my external harddrive on Finder suddenly and I have to manually plug the drive out because it won't eject when I try to even with Logic being force quit. As far as the thing about automatic backups I can't get that to work. When I quick-look my project like I saw in your other thread the only that appears is a picture of the project file and the name at the right. No alternatives no backup links or else that you described in the thread. Thanks with the help so far. This is really starting to get on my nerves :/
  11. To cleamon: How do I revert to an auto-saved version exactly? I don't have time machine on my Macbook sadly only my normal Mac, which this project isn't on :/. Arnaud: I will try to do all the things you mentioned and respond at the end of the day. (maybe in about 4-5 hours). Hopefully I can get something to work. To be honest I'm not completely sure whether or not I've updated my OSX since the last time I opened the project. I don't think so, but I'm not perfectly sure, but I know I haven't updated Logic Pro X since the last time though. Thanks for the help so far.
  12. Hello fellows. I have recently for the first time in Logic Pro X gotten a corrupted project file without me knowing how it got to this point. It worked perfectly fine the last time I was working on it, but I went back to it yesterday and it was unable to load I think the last plugin? I'm pretty sure it's not about the plugin though because it's a kontakt library instrument and I've never had problems with it before and there are several other instruments like this that is working. I've tried loading it a couple of times, but it stops at what looks like the last plugin (the same) everytime, the "busy"/"working" circle comes up and the longer I wait the more my Mac will go crazy. So far I've tried: Going into package contents of the project and replacing the current projectdata file with previous projectdata files in the Alternatives folder. Still the same error comes op for some reason. I've tried opening a new clean project and importing the project (tracks and such), but when it comes to import tempo it "crashes" or stops working whether I choose to import tempo or not. I really need to get back into this project and I know that there are many intelligent fellows around here so I was really hoping someone had some suggestions. Kind Regards to you all!
  13. Oh I completely missed that. I did not know that. It still doesn't solve my issue in piano roll, but it is defniitely a nice feature!
  14. Thanks. I know most of these and I just tink it is weird that you can't move notes to the right or left when you have the ability to move it up or down (tonewise). Or have I just overlooked something?
