  1. Hmmm….what about if you show package contents? Any chance they are hiding in there?
  2. Can I open logic's plugins in VEP? For instance I want to have a rack of guitar pedal boards always available to me through VEP. Any ideas?
  3. So I get this every once in a while, Logic will reload all my virtual instruments. Does anyone know what causes this? LP9 by the way. Thanks
  4. Hi david i think I figured it out, i'm not 100% yet so I won't post the details yet but I'll get back to you soon. Thanks for your help.
  5. nope, it was already unchecked. turns out its killing volume as well. very frustrating
  6. Hey everyone, so I've noticed that when I record a midi region with mod wheel data in it then press stop. Logic sends out a CC1 = 0 message. So when I hit my keyboard I don't hear anything on my string patches. Any way to fix this? Is this a setting or a preference? Is there a way to filter out CC1 = 0?
  7. Hey everyone. Thanks for the quick response. For those that said it was still kinda buggy. Anything specific?
  8. Working with VEP on a TV show and a movie. Talking 40bus's and over 200 tracks and growing quickly, would really love to use track folders. But I'm curious as to how stable it is. I know its a really hard question to answer but any Pro's out there using it yet? David? Thanks!
  9. Hmmm....so after thinking about this a lot, I don't think I posed the right question. By its default setting Logic intercepts all CC7 data and uses it to control the logic faders. Is there a way to turn this off so that cc7 passes through to outside instruments such as VEP?
  10. So I know how to transform my midi cc coming from my midi faders from one channel to another. My question is, if I receive midi from someone else and all the volume information is cc7. Is there a way to globally change all of their cc7 to another cc. Say cc88 without having to do it in the list window. Can I set up a transformer in the environment that intercepts the cc before it goes to the VEP? So the signal path would be. Midi region in the arrange page -> transformer -> VEP plug-in. Or perhaps is there a way to intercept it before the Logic fader? When using a multi-timbral/multi output instrument only the first fader receives Midi volume. Is there a way to disable that and let it pass through to VEP? Any thoughts?
  11. hmm. is there any other way to do this. I've learned that if you hold down option and drag a track down it does what I want. It keeps the name, midi channel, and color. Is there a key command for this? Thanks
  12. Hey everyone. So when using a multi-timbral instrument often times I want to duplicate one of the midi tracks. However when I dod that it doesn't copy my name or color settings down. Any ideas? The naming is more important to me than the color. I'm on LP9 soon to go 10 if its stable. Thanks in advance.
  13. Also the time to create the disk image in the first place form the DVD's which will take a long time. Unless you know a fast way to extract it?
