  1. So here is something strange.. working w/ a friend on a collaboration and his Logic Pro session crapped out with this error: "Maximum number of Software Instrument tracks You have added the maximum number of Software instrument tracks (0) to your song. Delete one or more Software Instrument tracks before adding another Software Instrument track. " Here is screen shot of what he sent me: Any ideas on what is causing this error and what I could tell him to do..? Edit: OK, just found out that his Core audio was inadvertently unchecked, and he had to just simply re-enabled it... All is good.
  2. Hey I am probably the guy who uploaded that video! HaHaHa! The Samples actually came from my old Kontakt 2 Library, the setting I used in the plugin is called: "AF Basic" Not sure, but I think you find it dirt cheap on eBay, since it's so old. I think Kontakt re-released the samples in some of their newer libraries, but IMHO, I am not sure it sounds the same, But it could be that I use logic's compressor some reverb, and an EQ. Here is the video: http://youtu.be/stv-C0bVrqs If you have any trouble finding the sample set, and replicating the sound, just email me offline line, and I'll help you out. 3. Thank You for this! I was able to make some amazing sounds using this trick. What I really like about this, Is you have endless possibilities to tweak your sound sets. e.g. I put a ring modulator on the 6th harmonic and it was beautiful. BTW, can you do this on any other Logic synth or is the EFM1 the only one? Thx!
  4. More and More I am finding how versatile and useful the ES2 is... It's funny, I was using NI's Massive the other day in trying to get a decent edgy synth sound... and for some reason, I decide to stop and switch to the ES2, and it nailed it. Maybe, I my ears just got tired w/ the type waveforms Massive was using? LOL! IMO, The ES2 is a really powerful synth - way better than NI's Massive or even Sylenth1.
