So....
I have been on (and off) this project for a year or so and it's finally coming to the bounce stage.
The project is 70+ tracks, played live (Drms/Bass/Git/Keys/Perc/BVs/5 Horns) to create backing tracks for live use. I recorded everything so I've had control from the start.
The playback rig is 24 channel. Here is the channel list I need to create:
1. Playback: Clicks (IEMs only)
2. Playback: Cues / Count ins (IEMs only)
3. Playback: Effects L (includes some strings, samples, synths)
4. Playback: Effects R (includes some strings, samples, synths)
5. Playback: Drums - Triggers
6. Playback: Drums - Kick
7. Playback: Drums - Snare
8. Playback: Drums - OH L
9. Playback: Drums - OH R
10. Playback: Percussion L
11. Playback: Percussion R
12. Playback: Bass
13. Playback: Guitar
14. Playback: Keys L
15. Playback: Keys R
16. Playback: Trumpet 1
17. Playback: Trumpet 2
18. Playback: Trombone 2
19. Playback: Tenor Sax
20. Playback: Baritone Sax
21. Playback: BVs L
22. Playback: BVs R
23. Playback: Backup Full Mix L (backup only)
24. Playback: Backup Full Mix R (backup only)
Is there any way of using the Export All As Audio function whilst retaining FX routing (reverbs etc-not on the individual channels)?
I'm looking at 18 passes per tune otherwise which is hugely time consuming. I feel like I'm missing a trick, am I?
I thought about creating Buses but as I need separate stems for each brass instrument I'm not sure it'll be any faster to create a bus for each (because reverb and group Bus EQ)?
Any help would be hugely appreciated!
