I did this step: Click the Flex On/Off button for each one of your audio tracks. With Flex OFF ,regions remain in the correct relative spot, timing is correct but editing is gone With Flex ON, it is all messed up and out of sync. These are mostly vocals and it gets sped up basically, when Flex is on and the tempo has been increased

actually, one slight issue is that any flex editing I did is of course now gone and I can't bring it back without displacing the regions in the new tempo.....

I wanted to change my project tempo from 120 to 128 and maintain the position of the audio regions. I'm pretty sure I've successfully done it before but I had to look it up and my understanding is you have to open the secondary ruler, SMPTE lock the regions, then change the tempo. However this is not working for me. Even if I unlock the regions and drag them so they start on the right beat, they get off track almost immediately. Any clue what I am doing wrong or missing here?

Hey all I've never had this issue before. Signal is going from instrument to DAW to Logic Pro X 10.7.2 , I don't think anything is wrong per se, I am just missing something dumb I'm guessing. The signal is clearly there as I an see it on screen, it will record fine but the tuner will NOT respond. Any ideas? Running Monterey on a 2019 iMac. The only stuff I've found online is from like 8 years ago at least Thanks

I can see how it may seem counter-intuitive, but there's a good reason for setting it up that way: the articulation data is actually embedded within the note itself. That means the articulation setting on the plug-in GUI isn't a playback mode for already recorded notes (they already have their own articulation that was determined when you recorded them), it's a setting that determines the articulation of the notes you're recording. This allows for various notes of different articulations at the same time. For example let's say you just recorded some sustained notes and want to do a second pass, recording a few staccato notes on top of the sustained notes, you can do that because the articulation setting in the plug-in doesn't affect the notes you've already recorded, only the new ones you'll be recording now. that does make sense!

Hi all. I've read a couple things on this but none seem to address the issue I'm having - which is probably down to my lack of understanding of what's what here Basically I am trying to use studio horns but I don't want to use the default. It's too short, mostly - ends before I want it to. However when I change the articulation, just experimenting mind you, nothing seems to happen. Sustain, expressive medium, staccato - it's all the same. And it only ever says "last played articulation - expressive medium" which is the default. So it seems like I'm changing it but no change is occurring. What am I missing? Attack and auto vibrato seem to work but release doesn't affect the end of the note either. Can anyone guide me on this subject? It seems crazy that you can't easily extend note length

It's solved. I ended up individually downloading and installing each of the additional content packages. I guess before they didn't take completely. So weird. Well, this was fun.

Really at a loss here. The first image below shoes it can't find the wav file. The second shows that it is indeed not in the folder, though there are Yamaha samples in there. Also, on my OLD machine the file above ("054 etc") is not in the sample folder either, yet everything loads fine. Should I just start all over? And how should I, if so. in case anyone is on the edge of their seats about this, I tried re-downloading the additional content, in the event that it hadn't worked properly the first time. I kept getting this message though: "Logic was not able to complete the download" ... Then it would start up again. When it was seemingly completed, I tried to turn off Logic but it asked if I wanted to continue or cancel the download. Went to bed and in the morning it was still at that point. I'm going to have to take this one thing at a time, clearly.

Ok the other acoustic pianos aren't found either. except the Steinways work
