  1. Thanks, i will try that.
  2. I have my projects on a separate partition, but i can´t get Logic to automatic save in that direction, i have to do set it manually every time. I have tried to set it it up in project settings/recording, but when i choose "save as" it leads me to Logic/music. Is there a bug or how can i change that permanently ?
  3. I wouldn´t worry if the project plays fine and not crashes. It is, as you know a common issue and i think we all just live with that
  4. I was lucky, after some detective work to find exactly the discs i needed The problem with my mac is that, this model has a well known issue, with kernel panics and restarts in later OS´s than snow leopard. So now im back on snow leopard and Logic 9,now everything works like a charm But thanks again TBP
  5. Lost mine for my Macbook pro mid 2010 i7 Does anyone have these ? regards
  6. M-Audio problems You can read about them yourself. Seems like your link is most concerning products from 2012 and up and mostly midi, but what about your "M-Audio has always have enormous problems with their drivers." ? The guy you are missleading has a profire 610,isnt that a bad signal to send to all M-audio owners, in fact that fx computer specs can have a thing or two to say ?
  7. ? I´ve had several M-audio soundcards, and these have allways been the most stable, both hardware and drivers. Maybe you have been unlucky...? But please explain the "enormous problems" thing ?
  8. You can open Logic 9 projects in Logic X and use fx "32 lives" plugin adapter to get your 32 bit plugins to work. You cant open 9 projects in 8
  9. As Danyg says, and if that is not enough then you can consider buying a headphoneamp.I also have the Apogee Duet and use a headphoneamp to have a better overall volume control.
  10. Didn´t.help me,but of course increase the I/O buffersize will help...
  11. Maybe, that depends on which processor, but the one core spike is probably not going away.
  12. The one core cpu spike is a common problem in Logic, try search in here or google it .. Or read this https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201838
  13. If you are on a track in "live mode" the cpu can go crazy.Try to load a empty track and highligt that when playing back..
