  1. Hello all. I have made some synths and drums with Ultrabeat, and have some plugin settings, and I am playing them all live. How can I record this live process into a single audio file? Thanks!
  2. Hello all. There is probably a simple solution to this. I want to delete loops in an audio track and copy them into the grid: at the moment they are very slightly behind time. But when I try to copy and paste any audio loop, the file does not reappear: the timeline just stays blank, and the time bar moves on as if there's a loop there. And there isn't! Is there some button I have accidentally pressed to make this simple thing so difficult? I would appreciate your help out there! Best, Simon
  3. Hi Atlas. Unfortunately, none of this is now working! It worked for one loop, but not on any of my new ones. I have 10 or so samples from live drums and I want to make them all 120BPM. In Logic 8, I did this with "Match tempo", which was easy: I just made a good loop, then clicked on "Match Tempo" and the work was done. It seems harder with Logic X unless I am missing something? My laptop will now not recognise any BPM at all in these new loops! Is there another way I can try? Thanks!
  4. Thank you, Atlas! I am now getting to grips with BeatMap. I massively appreciate your assistance and will proceed: I am already getting towards the required results, and will post again here (if that's cool) if I have any further problems. Many thanks!
  5. Hello all. I'm running Logic X on my new MacBook Pro. I'm trying to make perfect loops to 120 BPM out of live drums. When I check 8 bars with the BPM meter, it says 101 BPM. But in the project it says 120 BPM. I have no idea why this is! The beat is clearly not as fast as 120 (which is the tempo I need). How do I change the BPM without altering the pitch? Is it better to use Apple Loops, or the Flex Time editor to build a bank of perfect-timed loops? On my older MacBook, this worked fine. But not now! Help would be much-appreciated.
