  1. well, i'll definitely try that, but i think i figured it out. for some reason, automation of volume, as you see in the screen, was enabled by default in my autoload. so i set it all to off, and boom, the "all tracks or just the current" message returns. but it might look even better adding the auto track zoom thing. thanks to you!
  2. Thanks, but: No, I don't mean Autozoom. In earlier versions of Logic (at least it was still available in 7), you chose Arrange Window -> View -> Track Automation, you were prompted to decide if you want see the automation data of the current track or all tracks. THIS doesn't happen anymore; if I use the command I get to see ALL automation of ALL tracks immediately, which a) looks really ugly and is b) extremely confusing if you have automation on ONE track and get a really complex window with yellow still unused volume marks all over it. greetings, ric I'll try to upload a screenshot...
  3. hi, i remember that in earlier versions of logic you choose between viewing the automation data in current or any track. now, in pro 8, i'm no longer prompted to choose between everything or one track, i always get to see all track automation. is this a bug or did they dump it in 8? greetings, henrik
  4. Definitely have the same problem and i don't think that "broken" is too harsh. Actually it doesnt work - just a few rare occasions i can use it, most of the time there is absolutely nothing. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2,2 (same thing with Motu 828 Mk II and Built-in Audio). Ric
  5. It's appears right it in the Channel Strip Settings of L8 (11 Main Stage Guitar Rigs)
  6. The guitar amp settings sound pretty cool. Or is it so obvious that noone else mentioned that...?
  7. I really suppose it IS the MOTU Midi Extension. I have the feeling that nearly all audio-related Kernel Panics found on the Web can be traced back to that one. Bought a M-Audio Midisport. Everything running smoothly now.
