  1. Thanks for all your help. Since I last checked in here I found the direct mac installer for the Saturation Knob on the Softube site, did the download and installation and it is now validated along with the Seventh Heaven plugin. My issue is now resolved.
  2. I downloaded the Seventh Heaven plugin and installed it. It works! The Saturation Knob is turning out to be a more difficult problem. After several attempts I haven't been able to activate my account and do the download. The Softube website tells me that I'll get an account activation email but nothing so far. I'll keep trying because I really like the plugin, especially for the price!!!
  3. Thanks for the information and links. Seventh Heaven and the Saturation Knob are the only iLok plugins I have. I'll try downloading the recent versions and let you know what transpires.
  4. The plugins are LiquidSonics Seventh Heaven and the Softube Saturation Knob. I don't know what versions they are and can't find out because they don't show up in Logic now. I did just upgrade the iLok Manager to version 5.4.1 but it didn't help.
  5. I just downloaded and installed macOS Monterey on my 2015 MacBook Pro. All but two of my plugins were successfully validated when I opened Logic Pro (10.7.2) after the upgrade. The plugins that were not successfully validated are ilok activations. The message I get when I try to do a Reset and Rescan via the plugin manager is "auvaltool quit unexpectedly". Each ilok activation plugin is listed as "crashed validation". Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
  6. I would have just said, "yes", but David Nahmani's response gives you the whole enchilada. BTW - His book "Logic Pro X, Professional Music Production" is an excellent resource!
  7. Not sure if this is what you mean but here's a video that illustrates how to change the tempo within a track. And the link to Apple Support on this topic: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH13220 Let us know if these help.
  8. Glad I could be of some assistance. Happy recording!!!
  9. Not sure if this will help but here's a link that covers an often overlooked new system change in Mojave. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT209175
  10. Thanks for letting us know.
  11. Please let us know if the sound library reinstall resolves the problem.
  12. Here's the link to a previous thread on this issue. Hope it helps. viewtopic.php?t=122838
  13. tokyo dawn's stuff is great, i use their 'limiter 6 GE" a lot... The Slick EQ M and Limiter 6 GE have permanent homes on all my master tracks. Which brings me back to the OP. Logic Pro stock plugins would no doubt get the jobs done that I use TDLs and Klanghelms to achieve but frankly I have fun employing the 3rd party offerings and really like the different "flavours" they provide. For example, the Klanghelm MJUC MK3>Guitar>Solo Presence preset sounds amazing on acoustic guitar.
  14. Tokyo Dawn Labs has a free dynamic EQ called Nova. Yes, I have the Nova GE and use it a lot. That's why I think it would behoove (love using words like that) the Logic Pro developers to include one in the stock plugins. In the meantime I'll continue to benefit from all the amazing Tokyo Dawn plugins in my toolbox.
  15. Yes, I'm aware that it's doable but the process is anything but easy and intuitive. Here's a previous thread on the subject that illustrates how complicated the setup is. viewtopic.php?t=127423
