  1. I'm making them right now. So I can send you a link of the .pst and .SDIR files once I'm done 🙂
  2. This works perfectly. So I panned the left and right files, join them into a single stereo file and import it into SD. It sounds perfect! Now it's time to create real presets for SD so I won't have to import manually the files each time. It's gonna take me forever but it's worth it! Thanks for your help man!
  3. Yes, and you can load only one file. So the left file of the IR sounds really loud in the left speaker (and vice versa with the right file). If I use the quad format, it simply sounds mono… One thing I haven’t tried yet is to import the left and right IRs into Logic, and export a stereo file and see if this can work. I hope there’s an easier way to fix this though ^^
  4. Hey there! After a clean install of my MBP, I'm trying to convert the 2023 Bricasti M7 IRs from Samplicity into presets for Space Designer. In IRU, I load the left/right files then export in stereo, but it looks like only the left channel is used since in EVERY preset the left channel is WAY more louder than the right channel. So what am I doing wrong here? How can I get perfect stereo IR presets with IRU? Thank you for your help
  5. Lol you're right. I just got an email telling me David replied in this topic. Just didn't pay attention to whom he was replying to.
  6. Hey David! Gosh it's been a while I posted for this issue lol. So no I'm not on 10.5 anymore, but 10.7.7. I've never had this issue after Logic got updated long time ago. So I guess we can close the topic?
  7. Hey everyone! First, I'd like to thank everyone for your kind words when I shared the template 6 years ago! Time goes so fast!! Second, I'm really sorry for ghosting the thread for so long. Actually I've never get any alert until today. So here I am! I actually don't use this template anymore. After this one I used a template with top down technique, and now I use a more classic one (bottom up) with a lot of busses and more or less complex routing. In 2016 I subscribed to the URM Academy which is one of the very best online mixing school for rock and metal. For those who don't know how it works, at the beginning of each month you get raw tracks from professional bands (I mean top level bands like Gojira, Bring Me The Horizon, Periphery, Architects, Jason Richardson, VOLA, TesseracT and so on...), you mix the song and submit it for a contest where the top 50 mixes are chosen to win huge prizes. At the end of the month, the original mixer will remix the entire song from scratch and will show you exactly his techniques to get that sound. So through the years I updated my template many times to suit my mixing skills and to use something practical and convenient for me. Anyway, if you're interested in my last template, let me know and I'll create a new thread. Take care!
  8. Here's what I did : I opened my mixing template and added the tracks. Then I mixed as usual with stock and third party plugins. I then opened a new and empty project. Then I imported the settings from the first mix session (tracks, busses, aux, master, stereo output, plugins, in/out, sends), and project settings (screensets, metronome...) Then I added the tracks of the second song. Only two aux tracks had the problem : drum reverb and snare reverb. I'm not at home right now. I'll will provide my mix template as soon as I get home [EDIT] I attached my template Top Down 2.zip
  9. I almost never freeze tracks and surely did not copy the settings from frozen tracks.
  10. I've tried to import again the project settings to mix another song, and this time only one auxiliary track (drum reverb again) had this problem. I could delete it, use another bus to send my drum shells to the reverb and it was fine. Weird ? Hell yeah
  11. Hello folks ! I'm encountering a very weird issue with Logic Pro X. I've imported the settings of a previous mix (the songs were recording during the same studio session) to a new one, so all my channels, settings, sends, routing... are already set. However, for any reason I understand, for two aux tracks only (drum verb and snare verb), the plugins are displayed as active but there is NOTHING I can tweak inside. The blue on/off icon on top left is in dark blue, and cannot be clicked. I've tried using different plugins, different bus sends... There's nothing I can do. Has any one of you already seen that ??
  12. Hey guys ! First let me wish you a very Happy New Year ! Hope you'll get everything you want So back to our lovely Logic ! I just saw that we can select audio regions by colors ! So let's say I want to edit a snare drum track. I need to replace some weak hits. So I cut them, color them in red so they're easy to see, and can now easily select all of them at the same time using that cool feature. Now the 1 million dollar question : is it possible to replace all of the selected regions (my weak snare hits) and replace all of them at the same time by another audio region ? Like a multiple copy/paste ? If yes, well you're gonna make my life so much easier ! If not, here's another thing I've thought about : Is it possible to move the playhead directly to the start of the next audio region using a shortkey ? I know we can trim an audio region to the playhead, but I kinda want to do the opposite: automatically place the playhead to the start of the next audio region (my next weak snare hit ), then paste another audio region. Cheers !
  13. Thanks a lot guys ! I can perfectly use Logic, but it's quite a pain to wait for this plugin analysis to be finished before I can start mixing.
