  1. Hi, I've always gotten movie files delivered starting at hour 1 or with a 10 second pre-roll (movie start time 00:59:50:00), but now I'm getting movie files starting at 0 with a blank pre-roll of 10 seconds. I can't seem to find a way to line this up in Logic. Any suggestions? I can't figure it out with movie region start/end or smpte view offset either. // Edit, looks like you can manually drag the movie strip and force it into negative timecode, but this is a very time-consuming way to try to align the movie file. Also the audio files they delivered seem to snap to 23:50:00:00, but it's a catch 22 because Logic doesn't want to go higher than hour 24 either. Thank you!
  2. Hey, Does anyone know how to convert timecode of a MIDI file into SMPTE? I have a MIDI file and when I open the file in textedit timecodes show up as something like èxˇ instead of a timecode like 01:00:00:00. Is midi timecode relative? Basically, is the èxˇ value actually referring to a fixed timecode or is it ticks or frames relative from a start position? I've found a couple of websites about it that makes sense (looks similar to "F0 7F 7F 01 01 hh mm ss ff F7"), but none of them look anything like the èxˇ characters in the midi file. Maybe I just need to open it in a different editor or with a different encoding or something? (my end goal here is to import midi files into an application and extract the timecode data) Thanks for help!
  3. Damn, worked! Awesome! Thanks! If you don't mind one more question. I have no way of telling lemur if it's on or off when I open the logic session (which is not the end of the world), but do you know if there's a way to always set it to off if the lemur switch is off and on if it's on? Now when I open Logic and power is on but it's off in Lemur they will be out of sync. Still working, but saying on in lemur when it's off in logic and vice versa. Just wondered if there's an easy change I can do to some midi value that will take care of that. Thanks!
  4. No, a key command to turn the track power on/off and un/load the plug-ins. E.g. what happens when you option+click the power switch.
  5. I found the shortcut to turn a track on/off, but there is a neat feature to unload plug-in when you option+click on the track power switch. Is there a shortcut for the option click? I can't find it in the key commands window. Thanks!
  6. So no way to change the mode? Any other workaround to make my Lemur button work as a toggle for this? If I change the Lemur button into a pad it toggles on every tap, but if it's a switch it needs two taps to turn on and two taps to turn off. This is usually fixed in logic controller assignments by changing the mode, which seems to be grayed out for keyboard shortcuts for some reason.
  7. Yes, I get into controller assignments, but when key command is selected in the class menu, the "Mode" is grayed out and I can't change it to Direct. Not sure that would solve the problem, but I currently have to press my lemur button twice for it to toggle on/off, and it doesn't keep track if it's on or off in Lemur, but that's a different story.
  8. Thanks, worked! However I need to press my Lemur button twice for it to toggle and there is no way to change it from Scaled to Direct, which I think is what I need. Ideas?
  9. Ah great, thanks! Do you know if this can be mapped to controller assignments? It doesn't react when I try to learn. Or if not, can a specific shortcut be mapped to controller assignment? Thanks!
  10. Two questions: 1) I have "Only load plug-ins needed for project playback." turned on, but I thought that if I select a track the plugins would load automatically? They don't for me so I have to press the power switch. They also wont load if I drop a region on there, which I've read that it should i the manual. I still have to press the power switch manually. Are there more settings than just the "only load plug-ins needed" button that I can play around with? 2) Is there any way I can assign a shortcut to turn the power switch on/off once I have the track selected? Thank you!
  11. Bump any solution to values back from logic to lemur?
  12. Exporting Tracks as Audio Files won't include any signals sent to busses or mastering auxes. It will just export those audio tracks as-is, so maybe that has something to do with it? So what reflekshun is describing is separate tracks within the stacks not the stack itself? It sounded like the stacks by the ”NOT shift click”.
  13. This results in 0-10 sec silent audio files for me. Any ideas? I’m on track stacks. Thanks
