It is most definitely a bug, then. I am on the latest version. I reported it to apple.

I have a separate project drive (SSD within my mac pro 2019) - it isn't my system drive and is formatted APFS If I right click on those sessions, and show package contents I see only a folder 000 within alternatives, and then within project file backups I only see 00 under the menu item revert to I only see one option

There is no marquee tool in the piano roll window even with advanced features enabled. I believe this refers to the arrange window.

My general intent is to smooth the automation points as easily as possible. On advanced sample libraries, with lots of dynamic layers, you can hear the bumps from going slightly up then slightly down. it is a drag, literally, to smooth these curves out. if i had the marquee tool I could select multiple points and delete the points which aren't at the apex.

I spend a large part of my day doing this cleaup work, is there any solution in 2024 - including third party or macros? I also want to add, even the existence of the marquee tool in the piano window would be a huge time saver.

I notice Logic has a limit of 1000 software instrument tracks, if that is the case how are composers running templates with upwards of 3-4000 tracks with VE Pro? Does VE Pro count as a software instrument track? Is it simply all multi-timbral? I am just enternating of building one of these monsters for the first time and wanted some answers before

I was able to solve this with the help of apple support. My workflow to initially do this was: 1) export my key commands from logic on my desktop - to the icloud 2) import them from the icloud to the laptop apple support told me to instead drop the keyboard command files onto my laptop's download folder and THEN import them. This solved the issue. It was some bug with icloud and the file not being properly formed/downloaded.

I import key commands from my desktop to the laptop, and it simply doesn't work. For some reason, logic doesn't seem to know that I am using a full keyboard, and it won't let me access my key commands from my desktop. I cannot find a setting to override this behavior. Been using logic since 2007, I am basically lost without my custom key commands. Please help, second time posting this.

No, I honestly haven't figured it out. I am just dealing with the unhappy situation that I will have a lot of latency when "mixing as I go" because I like to use plugins as part of the compositional process.

2AC Audio precedence is able to do this, maybe combined with an imager getting narrower (Waves S1 is good at this). You will 100% need to automate plugins for this task, also remember that mono isn't especially narrow.
