+1 Logic constantly messes up my controller's assignments (since ever). I have 8 midi controllers connected via a USB hub. Each restart is different... or the inputs in controller assignments are messed up, or the whole controller is not responding in "learn mode", tho it is sending midi data to Logic. But maybe after the restart, it would work. If I go to Control Surfaces/Setup... and click any controller, I lose my controller's settings, which are then set to default (Smart Control#xx) and some of the commands are scattered around zones/modes, that I need to cut&paste them back to propper zone/mode, and some commands just disappear and needed to be relearned. An automatic assignment is disabled for those controllers. Sometimes it "learn's" a command under a completely different zone/mode I was. Sometimes, when cut&paste "Mode" to another "Zone", it got pasted into a completely different zone and can't be pasted elsewhere. The whole controller assignment is unintuitive, missing propper editing functions and is acting strange and unpredictable. I deleted CS prefs several times, but no difference. Is this a bug, or is my setup unlogical for Logic? Any info on this would be helpful... thnx

Hi guys.. So far I learned quite a lot from those scripts (thnx speakerfood & scripters..) ..with help of Accessibility Inspector. I am trying to figure out how to use decimal values. I can change values (gain - row 9) with 'increment' and 'decrement' actions, but it moves by 10 (or 1.0) Moving by 1 (or 0.1) would be appropriate. with this code, the value moves by 0.1, but I think there is a lot more lag: Maybe someone can help me with the solution for 'increment' and 'decrement' actions to move by 0.1? the script: BTW, I am using Keyboard Maestro. Hey guys... I'm not sure yet, if I understand Stacks properly. In my scenario, when I create a Drummer track Stack+ (Producer Kits), created is a Stack on a track level with the first empty Aux. But I would like to use prepared Aux for drums, let say Aux 233 (In my case that Aux is routed to Sub 1) I think Logic should give an option, which Aux should be used for Stack, when creating Stacks. I created a template, where all 64 Buses are routed to Auxes 194-256: Bus 1-20 -> Aux 194-212 = Bus 1, Bus 2, ... Bus 20 Bus 21-40 -> Aux 213-232 = Effect 1, Effect 2, ... Effect 20 Bus 41-60 -> Aux 233-252 = Sub 1, Sub 2, ... Sub 20 Bus 61 -> Aux 253 = EXTRA BUS Bus 62, 63 -> Aux 254, 255 = Side Chain 1, Side Chain 2 Bus 64 -> Aux 256 = Out (output to Stereo Output) Since all busses are used, and when an instrument with effect send is created, there will be no effect channel strip due to already used Bus. Is this configuration 'Logical', or why I shouldn't be using this configuration? Thnx, Roger

Unbelievable!! Thank you Christian very much for that solution! Unmounted two Bootcamp VMs and it worked for me too (I thought I lost the project already, it didn't open even after an hr or so.) But I must say, I didn't notice any suspicious activity, just hanged Logic showing window "loading some .exs and a name "EXS24", where usually samples are shown when loading" I was obviously messing around something with samples. (Apple doesn't like that, I know) After that, the loading progress warned me that it can't find specific sample, I clicked "continue". And there is no option for manual search either, just "Continue" & "Search again" which obviously can't find anything (Didn't reindex spotlight due time limit, not sure if this could help though) Project loaded, then replaced missing samples in sample editor and al iz gud I think Apple should consider give us an option to exclude a search on non Apple partitions in Logic (i.e. FAT32, NTFS, ....), if it is not there already, but I miss looked it. Edit: One can exclude indexing any partition/drive in Spotlight Privacy. Thnx, Roger

Is it possible on piano roll, to see pressed key, like on input keyboard? When i press key on my midi keyboard, on piano roll I cant see which key is pressed, but on input keyboard there is shown.

Hm.. I tried this, but if u press stop twice, playhead will go to the beginning. So, the same on Shuttle. Is there any option for stop, that if u press stop, no matter how many times, playhead stays there? // Roger
