  1. Hi, I'm dying to identify some sounds, and can't figure out what they are or how they're produced...help?! at :30 and :45-ish. It sounds like the sound is being swallowed, or swiped or something. Sounds pretty synthy and something I hear quite a bit but I've no idea what it is or how to achieve it. Thoughts please? There's a good lot of it in this track as well, from the very beginning... Thanks a million
  2. I had this problem also, and once I moved one of the tracks past 1 1 1 1, all was well. I was at my wits end with it, having tried a number of things, to no avail. Thanks so much for your help- you guys are awesome:)
  3. Ahhhhh!!!! It's not sorted at all! Only a handful of the drum presets are available, although all are in the Ultrabeat folder; the same as on my macbook. Could Logic be searching in a different folder? If so, where? I can't see a file path other than Library/Application support/ Logic/ Ultrabeat samples. Thanks, dejectedly.
  4. Oh, not to worry. Having moved the samples back and then restarted Logic, we're cosy once again. I could sense that someone was about to come to the rescue though, so thanks anyway for that.
  5. Hello there, I've been using Logic in my Macbook for a couple of months now, with EXS24 samples in an alias folder in an external drive. I now have an iMac and tried to save space by creating an alias folder for both the samples and Ultrabeat samples also. Logic couldn't seem to locate the Ultrabeat so I scrapped that idea. I put the Ultrabeat samples back in the Library/Application support/ Logic/ Ultrabeat samples folder and it looks exactly the same as my Macbook now. Logic on the iMac on startup, now asks me to select one single sample from the folder, so when I use Ultrabeat, I've got ONE drum sample to serve the entire sampler ?!?!?!? Not cool. Help?
  6. Hi, I've recorded a number of midi tracks using the cycle recording setting. I record a short section which is looped and Logic creates new tracks as I record. When I go to listen back to the individual tracks, I can't solo one without -the whole group is solo/mute Any ideas? Thanks a mil.
  7. Jordi, Thanks a million. It turns out I had closed the programme and accidentally locked the screen before doing so. I realised this and unlocked it so that solved the problem and I didn't need to try your solution. Many thanks anyway.
  8. Hi, I saved a project in Logic Pro X and closed down, saving again when prompted as I closed the piano roll window. Now when I open the project I can only see the piano roll window and can't access the main project. Is there a way to get back to the main project through the piano roll editor or is this a bug? Many thanks, LPN
