  1. Hi I've had a real hard time deleting Native Instruments from my plugins, i've deleted all the files i can find is there any hidden folders i should know about? (I've deleted it from Documents, Applications etc...)
  2. Thanks for your reply Jay i've sent you an e-mail, and i agree it was definitely a bargain the track has a real live feel!
  3. Would anyone recommend these kits for Hip Hop Production?
  4. Beautiful sounds Jay, is there any chance i could have an MP3 of the Jazz Ballad 1?
  5. I see thanks for your input, i'll spend more time with this and update the post if i come across anything substantial as i'm sure there's many beginners like myself struggling to get to grips with the power of the sample editor,
  6. After reading it may be a bug i thought i would try with a new project, it now seems to be working although its not perfect The process is like you said Edit > Open In Sampler > Adjust Region (The only down side: As soon as you playback the project even with the sampler window left open you have to [Edit > Open In Sampler > Adjust Region] again to readjust the desired regions otherwise the note is unaffected.) I'm starting to lean towards the MPC software as these type of functions are quite a burden in Logic Pro 9, Thanks for your help its appreciated,
  7. Ok i'll try to clarify, I've chopped my sample into 4 pieces, i've recorded in the 4 pieces via midi, therefore i have 4 Midi Notes (Looped), however i need to adjust the region of "Note 1" So as you said above i've clicked edit, adjusted the region (Beginning and end) however this does not update the note within my sampler. (my Loop is playing back the same as before the adjustment) If i we're to Re convert the transients to my ESX24 this would work, however i'm only trying to update the one note i've adjusted, Any ideas?
  8. Imagine i've chopped a 4 Bar loop into 4 notes, i've recorded in the 4 notes, however Note 1 is wrong, so as you've said i opened the sampler > edit > adjusted the region > played back my loop and the region is unaffected so its playing back the same as before i adjusted the region? Hopefully this makes more sense
  9. Thanks for you reply, I've adjusted the "Region" bar to my desired placement, how do i make this overwrite the original chop? Thanks again.
  10. Hi, When sampling in Logic Pro 9; typically i set my transients in the sample editor, then convert transients to my ESX24 to then play back via my midi keyboard. Once i've tuned my sample i match the tempo & then record my desired notes. The problem: There is always at-least 1 chop thats not perfect which creates nasty clicks or gaps between notes, what would be the best method for going back and cleaning up my chops? Fades and the Pencil tool will not work as its not the audio thats the problem, its the placement of transients. (In the MPC software at any moment you can literally open up each chop and move your transient this is the function i need in logic) Thanks.
  11. Native Instruments have alot of libraries worth looking into, alternatively use a s#!+ load of EQ and other plugins on the standard logic sounds.
  12. Hi I'm experimenting in Logic Pro 9 to find the best techniques for "real" sounding drums (from a timing perspective) for Hip Hop. When using Ultrabeat if i set the swing to 75% the swing is not applied to beats "1, 2, 3, 4" but everything in-between will swing, should i be manually adjusting each sound to my desired time using the Q Swing or is there a better approach to midi sounds? Thanks for taking the time to read
  13. Yosemite + Logic Pro 9 + High Spec Mac = Waste of time. Lag, Lag, Lag. Do NOT update yet guys. i repeat DO NOT UPDATE.
  14. I occasionally use the Arpeggiator in Logic Pro 9 for Hi Hats, is it normal for the Arpeggiator to create ALOT of lag on a high spec machine?
