This is too much. Why does everything have to be complicated in this program? Why can't I have an option to just turn off click with one click of the mouse? No, this tab where it is listed along autopunch, count-in and others, does not work. It only works in simple mode and in order to get to simple mode you have to first open metronome settings... Ridiculous... Also, how to disable count-in BY DEFAULT? I really hate the fact that I have to ask these simple questions in the forum! They should be SELF-EXPLANATORY!

Thanks man. To answer your questions- no, I don't see "untitled" item in the area where missing notes are. The region is labeled properly, but somehow notes are not there in the Edit view. I can see them in Timeline though. I don't see faint horizontal line, I don't use Capture recording. I guess the R button is "half-red". This is Logic 10.1. I think this may have to do with 'Link" button in Edit view (chain in picture). I messed with it a little and notes reappeared. Maybe it's just this time though.

This drives me crazy. Every now and then notes inside some MIDI regions become invisiible. This is devastating to the workflow. Please give me a hint how to solve this.

I don't see my strings track. They play but I don't find them anywhere, and can't rearrange them. H button is not on. Please anyone?

I am looking for backup preferences which would enable me to set a "revert to" option, with a first backup being the original arrangement, second - two days later, third - 7 days later etc...

Hi Eric, here it is. As you can see I have 4 blue drum tracks at the bottom (one is muted) and I miss one track with most files. Files are playing but I can't see them (can't see the track).

OMG, that's it. Autogain- what a f...in useless piece of garbage feature set as default. Logic seriously, why are you doing this to us? Why do you set features that are totally unnecessary as default and screw with our minds. I mean- is this deliberately? Thank you for the answer David, but I am so pissed off! The thing is I don't need a lesson in compression as you suggested, it is only HERE in Logic that I need one because here everything works opposite of common sense!

When I set the threshold lower shouldn't the output be lower as well? In my compressor it is opposite-when I lower threshold from 0 DB to -10DB, the sound gets LOUDER. Also, the meter shows that it is working more, but the sound is getting louder the more meter shows it is compressing. This is weird and I don't understand it.

Drum track was created by dragging loop inside the timeline and now the drum track plays but I don't see it anywhere. I didn't use Hide. I see the whole timeline but the track (drum files) are not there.

It shows it is recording , but the recording line is empty. Audio channel does not show activity on the monitor when speaking into mic.

When I record midi I would like to have overdub possibilities exactly the way I have when I record audio. Create take folders that are muted, except the take that is being recorded?

So it may not be battery, but I don't know what it is. Just doesn't work. It reports- USB devices disabled. Unplug the device using too much power to re-enable USB devices.

Sorry, I'm just overwhelmed...

I don't know why but I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK. Every time I plug in the interface, it reports-disable the device that is taking up power. I have no devices attached.
