  1. There's a problem. Despite i can change the tempo with a MIDI controller, as soon as i hit play or rec the tempo reverts to it's previous setting. In fact the MIDI controller via the environment fader is not affecting the tempo lane. And the lane will prevail. Any way to have the lane affected by the MIDI controller? otherwise i find it useless. You can change tempo during the playback, but you can't do it before hitting play...
  2. Thanks but the problem persisted. Now i "solved" it with a dirty trick, which is sending a panic command just at the end of the cycle. The problem occured when a note lasted past the cycle end.
  3. Hi, This is the n. 1 resource for Logic users like me, Thanks! Here's my problem: I have set 16 instrument tracks, each on a different MIDI channel (1-16). I select all tracks and record arm them, then start recording, using Cycle mode. If the "Overlapping track recording" preference is set to "Merge" it works and i can overdub my performance for ever. But if i set it to "Merge current recording Only", at the end of each cycle a weird message appears, and the recording is messed up by tons of duplicate notes. Here's the message: "Do you want to convert multiple event MIDI channels to instrument MIDI channel?" I really need to use "Merge current recording Only" because after the live performance, it allows me to recover all the recording passes and recreate the live performance as it was. Any idea? Thanks for you precious help, this simple error is keeping me from going ahead with my project, it is very annoying and crazy. Thanks Cheers
  4. I’m very happy for that, it means that somehow it can and must work. I tried any combination of controller and parameter and none worked in the MIDI FX domain, but everythings works all over Logic. I will try to update, reset, initialize everything and see if it finally will work. Thank you very much for your feedback that will let me take the right direction. Cheers
  5. Thank you for checking. Yes they look assignable and it actually connects them, but they won’t move.
  6. Hi, I suppose that this is a major bug in Logic. Do you have the same issue? It is not possible to assign controllers to MIDI FX. Everything else works, but MIDI FX not. Any idea if this horrible issue will be fixed? Thanks Hans.
  7. Hi, is it my system only or it is a Logic bug? I tried any possible way, but there is no way.. MIDI FX plugins can't be mapped to MIDI controllers. Yes they are mapped and the mapping stored, but they don't react to incoming commands. I tried with plugins, instruments and any other parameter and they all work immediately. Help please. Thanks Hans
  8. Yes, it needs a full arrangement..

  10. Ok, and please is there a place where i have to put the samples so that the patch will find them automatically, or is it anyway necessary that Logic relocates them?
  11. Thanks David, so the patch will include all plugin and effect settings? And if i save the patch + the samples in the right directory the receiving machine will be able to use it?
  12. Hi, i've created a stack containing 16 tracks that contain each an EXS sound, some plugins, and there are 2 aux tracks with effects. Is it possible to export the complete stacks, including the samples used by the EXS's? Thanks
