  1. Hey guys, I started having the same problem as Eric but not after upgrading, in fact out of the blue. I have been working on with this computer for a few years now (Mac Pro 2013 6-core). The only change recently was upgrading to Sierra, but this was more than a month ago. I have produced many projects in Logic since then. And yesterday out of the blue I started having this problem. It starts like this: I start logic normally. Work a little bit, when I try saving, I will get the beachball of death and have to force quit Logic. When I start it again then I get the updating info on audio units and get the dialogue on midi initialization error. Then the only thing that makes Logic start normally again is restarting the computer. Well, obviously I can't restart my computer every time I need to save a project, I will get crazy. Any ideas how to troubleshoot it? Thanks!
  2. 5 years after David answered this question I had the same problem. Well, it is 2017 and we still cannot reverse a surround audio file in Logic? sorry the language but wtf?... On a feature film project with dozens and dozens of cues, if every time I need 1 reverse audio I have to export it and process it somewhere else, this is going to be a huge pain in the ass. Couldn't we add this to the features list for future updates? (not in time for my project I know, but still...) Thanks...
  3. This thread started 3 years ago and this problem is still not solved. Why am I not surprised? I guess having empty dummy track objects as separators instead of folder tracks to organize a template is the way to go at the moment, yes, not the same thing. Oh Apple, Guns and Roses for you "I use to love her... but I had to kill her..." Peace. GD
  4. Question related to this - and I did not find a thread with this question: Is there a way to make Logic show all automation subtracks when we toggle to the automation mode pressing (default) 'A' ? It is a bit of a pain having to click on the triangle every time I toggle back an forth show/hide automation... Thanks!
  5. Anyone got a solution for this problem? It is a really annoying one... Thanks!
