Hi,
The Harpeggiator isn't working when I'm playing back the notes I recorded in Logic.
It does work in realtime tho. IE. I can hear it working when I'm playing and recording notes from my midi keyboard.
I tried this workaround from Apple's site: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203901 but it hasn't helped.
I'm able to record the harpeggitor output in realtime with AucioCR's midi FX freeze, but obviously this isn't ideal.
Here's Apple's suggested unsuccessful workaround...
Cheers and thanks for any help.
Harpeggiator
Follow these steps as a workaround for the Harpeggiator preset:
Insert Scripter in an available MIDI FX slot on a software instrument channel strip.
Open the plug-in window for Scripter and load the Harpeggiator plug-in preset.
Click the “Open in Script Editor” button.
Click in the top portion of the Script Editor window to place the focus there, then select (Command-A) the entire script.
Copy (Command-C) the script to the clipboard.
Open TextEdit or other text editor and paste (Command-V) the contents of the clipboard into a new document.
Use the Find function in the text editor to find and replace all instances of GetParameter("Beat division") with GetParameter("Beat Division"). This text is case-sensitive.
Select (Command-A) all text in the document, then copy the selected text to the clipboard.
In the Script Editor window, make sure that all text for the script is still selected, then paste the contents of the clipboard into the window.
Close Script Editor.
Choose Preset > Save As from the Scripter plug-in window. Save the preset to your desktop as a file named "Harpeggiator.pst".
Quit Logic Pro X.
Copy Harpeggiator.pst from your desktop to /Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-In Settings/Scripter/. You'll be asked to enter an administrator password.
