  1. Got it working and found another bug. Clicking "Run Script" after following the directions in previous post got the harpegiattor working. Bug: If set to cycle mode Harpeggiator doesn't work. It works correctly if cycle mode is NOT enabled.
  2. Hi, The Harpeggiator isn't working when I'm playing back the notes I recorded in Logic. It does work in realtime tho. IE. I can hear it working when I'm playing and recording notes from my midi keyboard. I tried this workaround from Apple's site: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203901 but it hasn't helped. I'm able to record the harpeggitor output in realtime with AucioCR's midi FX freeze, but obviously this isn't ideal. Here's Apple's suggested unsuccessful workaround... Cheers and thanks for any help. Harpeggiator Follow these steps as a workaround for the Harpeggiator preset: Insert Scripter in an available MIDI FX slot on a software instrument channel strip. Open the plug-in window for Scripter and load the Harpeggiator plug-in preset. Click the “Open in Script Editor” button. Click in the top portion of the Script Editor window to place the focus there, then select (Command-A) the entire script. Copy (Command-C) the script to the clipboard. Open TextEdit or other text editor and paste (Command-V) the contents of the clipboard into a new document. Use the Find function in the text editor to find and replace all instances of GetParameter("Beat division") with GetParameter("Beat Division"). This text is case-sensitive. Select (Command-A) all text in the document, then copy the selected text to the clipboard. In the Script Editor window, make sure that all text for the script is still selected, then paste the contents of the clipboard into the window. Close Script Editor. Choose Preset > Save As from the Scripter plug-in window. Save the preset to your desktop as a file named "Harpeggiator.pst". Quit Logic Pro X. Copy Harpeggiator.pst from your desktop to /Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-In Settings/Scripter/. You'll be asked to enter an administrator password.
  3. Thanks Eric So does that mean I can just edit the cells in DMD and not worry about Ultrabeat?
  4. Hi everyone. When I select an Electronic Drummer from the Librar,y Logic loads Drum Machine designer onto an AUX/STACK and ultra beat on an instrument channel. See attached Screenshot Logic shouldn't load an AU instrument on an AUX. 'Drummer' is playing the ultra beat sounds not the Drum Machine Designer sounds. I can 'mute' Ultrabeat by option clicking on Ultrabeat. This is happening on a newly created project as well as existing projects. 10.3.3 and 10.4 Anyone else experiencing this. Thanks for your help
  5. Native support and plugins for VR (Virtual Reality formats) as well as export to these formats, for game engines, Youtube VR/3D audio etc.
  6. Looks like I've found the problem and solution It seems that some of the Aux/bus channel strips were 'corrupted'. I reset the channel strips and then reloaded my channel strip settings and it works again. Logic still stalls sometimes on loading, usually on a logic plugin, but it works again after rebooting the computer. Maybe it's some sort of ram/memory issue that causing the stalling, and rebooting resets the memory allocation.
  7. in my situation the stalling goes on for an indefinite time and I have to force quit Logic
  8. Hi, Logic is stalling when it reaches some 'native' plugins like 'direction mixer' or 'channel eq' when I'm opening some existing projects. This is only happening when I try to open projects in Logic Pro X 10.2.3 and 10.2.4. Projects load without a problem when opened with Logic Pro X 10.2.2
  9. Thanks for posting the video tutorial. Looks great. Hopefully get a chance to play with it over the weekend. Cheers
  10. Thanks so much for doing this. Will test and report back
  11. This looks great. Is it possible to include which midi channel the note is mapped to as well as (editable) drum names? It would be really useful for 'mapping' notes/drums in multi-instruments like Kontakt, and could replace Logic's drum mapper environment object.
  12. Looks like this version needs OS X 10.9. The app store shows it as an "incompatible upgrade" on my 10.8.5 mac pro How's the stability esp. CPU handling with tLogic 10.1 and OS X 10.10.1 Early days i know...
  13. +1 save as folder. Would be great if we could set our preferred default, as logic always defaults to 'save as package' for new songs.
